Watched today's show. And would say that Musarrat is possibly the best Sufiana style singer among all the contestants in the last maybe few years. I am yet to see such a sufiana singer on any show starting from C-2005.
He was just superb in the Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saab song. I won't say he was better than original as none can even think of touching Nusrat Ji. And I am happy none of the Guru's made this comment either.(Seriously if they had done it today I would have to Mumbai with the gun in my AV after them š) The way he was singing the alaap part I feared this comment from the Guru's.
Way to go Musarrat!!!š Keep it up and in my opinion he should stick this genre only. None can beat him here!!!
