Mauli: chances after chances.. UNFAIR..

First of all, let me make it very clear that my comments here are on the show organizers/gurus/mahagurs and not on Mauli as an individual contestant. Whatever has happened, it is not her fault, she did not ask that she be given additional chances so we should not blame her for that.

OK, in the previous round mahagurus had almost decided to show green to Anita but HR intervened and gave Mauli a second chance - Maiyya Maiyya --and saved her, knocking poor Anita out of the race.

In last weeks round, based on performaces Shreshta scored over Mauli (75% here feel so) but I am now hearing that there was a tie round of common song. Why was this tie round even necessary when Shreshta was so much better in the regular round itself. This means the orgnizers gave yet another chance to Mauli to stay in competition. How many more such chances will she be given in the future rounds, I would ask?

Why is this unfair treatment by organizers, gurus and mahagurus to other contestants (mind you I am not blaming Mauli here). Do their singing careers have no value infront of this TRP raking tamasha?

I don't agree with you. Shersta has never been a good singer. She did sing good but not both the songs. And Mauli sang both the songs well. So even if you want to judge Mauli on her yesterday's perfromance than also she was better than Sheresta and if you compare the overall performances too than aslo Mauli has been better than her. So I don't think anybody has given any bias opinions. I think Mauli entered the Chakrvue because she desereved it.

Sorry but Mauli got two chances that she did not deserve. She herself admitted that Shresta was better than her. Good luck to Mauli but she does not deserve it as two good contestents got eliminated to make way for her.

First of all Shreshta should not even be competing with Mauli. In the previous round itself the mahagurus were about to give the verdict in favor of Anita. HR sensed that and intervened and asked Mauli to sing Maiyya Maiyya and literally pushed the decision to select Mauli down mahagurus throats. Poor Anita was not given a second chance to sing a song of in the genre that she is best in... This is unfair...and this is the whole point of my post-- not just who was better between Shreshta and Mauli.

Mind you I am an NRI myself and would like to see contestants like Mauli, Sumana, Reecha win -- but only based on their singing strenghts and not by any favoritism.

After seeing the Hungama video, it's clear that Shrestha was better than Mauli in the common song as well.

Lekin Zee ko aakhir apni manmani karni hi thi. Seedhi ungli se ghee nahi nikla to ungli tedhi kar li. Tedhi ungli se bhi nahi nikla to 'chamcha' use kar ke nikaal liya. 😉

Neither was this shown in the regular telecast in India. This might have been shown as behind the scene Hungama in Zee Music.
