This episode marks the beginning of the 'chakravyuh' phase, where among the 6 contestants only 1male & 1 female participant will be selected and the rest would get eliminated. The episode marks the entry of a new Mahaguru on the show – Anandji bhai of the famous duo kalyanji Anandji. In the first round, amongst the boys, the first one to get eliminated was Wasi Effendi of Yalgaar Gharana. Ismail Darbar seems visibly upset. Amongst the girls, the first one to get eliminated was Sumana Ganguly from Vishal Shekhar's team.

The second round witnesses an even tougher competition among the contestants. It becomes very difficult for the judges to give a verdict. Hence the contestants are asked to perform one common song. The final verdict is being declared. Mouli and Junaid get selected and reach the Agnipareeksha while Shrestha and Harpreet get eliminated from the show.

Saturday Is lucky for this 6 contestants..
This is happening for the first time on the sets of Challenge that a mentor has offered break to six contestants at one go. Its Vishal Shekhar's new record label V&S record has proven to be bliss for few lucky contestants of sa re ga ma pa. Vishal and Shekhar have announced that in the coming days they would record with Apurva, Mussarat, Amanat, Junaid, Raja, Sunil & Saberi. It's a bigger boon especially for contestants like Saberi, Raja and Sunil since they get eliminated in the chakravyuh round. Well, the contestants have something to be happy about after all. Their efforts seem to have finally paid off.

Harpreet, Saberi, Raja and Sunil 😲 are u serious... All 4 them were top contestants. Saberi was definitely a top contender she should have been there.

Happy Junaid is moving forward, I have always felt he is the best talent here, if Mouli was the best she should move on, if not it would be real sad, would like to see how she performed, no preconceived judgements
