things will pick up - and we've already had a couple of good performances in the weeks so far.

the challenge 2005 people were also a bit rough in the start, and slowly the weak ones were weeded out and the rest became increasingly stage-savvy and grew in confidence.

if you think back, challenge 2005 also had it's fair share of average and poor performers..it was only when we got to the last 10 or so that the level was consistently high.

i'm really enjoying this series too 👏

i'm dissappointed 😕 😕 .........start hi achha nahi huwa hai is C-2007 ka,India se jo bhi contestants select kare hai in mentors ne wo bohat hi average or can say ke kuch to below average the.......ab insab par 3 weeks ki mehnat yeh mentors le chuke hai par phir bhi n 1st round khatam ho chuka hai but koi khaas improvement nazar nahi aata contestant me 😕 aur C-2005 me last 2nd round me contestants mentors ke gharaano me gaye the but is baar to shuru se wo apne-apne gharano me hai n mentors ne hi select kara hai inko to is baar to shuru se hi bohat achha perform expected tha but 😕 😕 😕 ..... eklavya me to bhi kuch acche singers mile hai,specially sumedha n sumana r good......then sunil,apurva n Deol yeh achhe hai India se......agar pak.ke singers nahi hote to aur bhi ziada below average hota yeh C-2007........at least Amanat Ali,Mussarat,Wasi,Sikander ki waja se hearable to hai yeh show.............no offence......just my views 😛

Wait for few more episodes. With time and guidance from the Guru's these contestants are bound to improve. I remember even during C-2005 in the early rounds it was not that much of a fun. The fun factor and good singing came at later stage.

I dont think so..if you look back to 2005, Vinit and Debojit just gave average performance in initinal rounds,,,
I think only Hemachandra and Nihira were superb...otherwise else were just average,,,

In 2007, I think, Amanat Ali is the best

But meghna was so aweful , I can without any hesitation say- she was very disappointing ! who selected her?😕

We need new eyes and new ears to enjoy Challenge 2007. If we will keep on comparing them, then we will miss the fun of enjoying these contestants. C2005 is history now, C2007 is the present. So, enjoy the present. So far, I'm loving C 2007. I loved C 2005 as well, but I don't compare. Everybody has their own different style of singing, and we should just accept that.

ya...i guess all of you are right...in a way, the reason i felt c05 singers were better was probably becoz of Nihira... &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; n ya....i was thinking bout Meghna too...😕

not only nihira but hemachandra,sharib,sanchali,ujjaini,abhijeet,raktima,kekaa were also very good........aur aisa nahi hai ke above sab singers baad me achha perform karne lage the but shuru se hi achhi damdaar performances dete aaye the.............debojit was average but vineet was also good..............aur yeh quite natural hai ke C-2005 n C-2007 ka comparision ho...........is C-2007 me agar India ke bahar ke contestants participate nahi karte to show kaisa hota yeh humsab andaza laga sakte hai..........i'm hopeful ke aage yeh contestants achha perform kare but abtak to dissappont hi hui hun....singing se related shows hai to Indian idol se bhi comparision karte hai hum is show ko to is baar II3 me achhe trained contestants hai C-2007 ke muuqaable..............n shuru se mentors ke saath training le rahe hai yeh log to expectations to badhegi hi na 😊 .....aur himeshji ko kal ke show me dekhkar laga ke wo serif physically waha present hai jabki mentally wo kahi aur hi hai...........hopefully aage accha improvement aaye in sab me 😛

I totally agree. No performances have left me completely breathless, but some were good. Like Sunil Kumar's "Dil de diya hai", Junaid's "Ishq de gali vich", and of course Amanat Ali's "Mitwaa" but even though there's was good, nothing can compare to Hemachadra's songs. That guys is so amazing he melted your heart in every song he sang, whether it be "Phela Phela Pyaar hai" or "Tahnhaee" or "Dil diya hai (aye watan tere liye)". you pretty much fell in love with them. But in c2007, that is not the case. Maybe we were just spolied from c2005 that our expectations for c2007 were a little too high.
