Right Juggy. He cannot be called Character Actor.

From the same movie will go for "Kasme Waade Pyaar Wafa Sab" by Pran.

Just out of curiosity - the criteria is songs picturized on artists in a character role in a particular film or its those we have labelled 'character artists'.

Its probably as clear as mud so, as an example - kiran kumar is generally labelled a character artist but he was a hero in 'jungle mein mangal' and there was a kishore da song picturized on him - 'tum kitni khoobsurat ho'. Will this song make the cut? And what about Ashok Kumar in 'Aashirwaad' singing 'rail gaadi'?.

😆 Abhi you are a week late , thats all. Last week's theme was that..actors who shot to fame with some hit songs and got labelled in some categories.

Retro Cafe This Week-Songs that made them

Character artists basically are the supporting actor actresses who are not the leads, but provide able support.

Can I mention the only one I thought of that has not already been mentioned (plus I have just realised I do not have it - must have lost it when my PC crashed and not got it back):
