Why do I get the feeling that the mentors (or one particular mentor, and possibly the host) are the main attraction of the show, more than the contestants.

Oh dear! I wonder if the other show will be better..... maybe it will attract real talent and not some hysteria about the host, mentors and "performers". Shish....... Will we be getting updates on the VOI and video clips?😳

I really wish i could give it Minali, but they have it in the same time as Zee 😡 and me being the updater for Zee, cannot shift to star and i do not have 2 TV sets 😆

🤗 You were even posting updates on your holidays yaar...... thank you. I hope someone can at least give us the link to the episodes of VOI if not updates...😕.... I donot get Star1 channel here. Thank you for all your hard work......

Unbelievable.......😕 All we talk about is Aditya, Shekhar and Mauli........ threads full of them. Maybe start a club on them so we donot see too many topics on the same people.

As for Star VOI we will find a way out even if we don't get the TV channel

So what if the mentors provide a little drama. We all know that drama is necessary for TRPs. And if the mentors don't provide the drama, who will? The singers?

I don't get it....what part of the article has drawn some sharp comments and red faces from some of the posters on this thread? ...I read nothing in the article to draw those reactions...I mean...the article is justa matter of the fact snippet of that episode. It doesn;t talk about the quality of singing or compering or comments from Jusdges and Maha-Gurus etc...

I will hold my comments until I watch the show. Also, I believe we are talking about the 5th episode if it is realy May 18th show.. 😉

I still don't see the comparison between the Gajji Antakshari participants and the SRGMP singers.

This is too early to start commenting and making opinions. I still remember the early days of the last SRGMP and believe me the likes of Saptak and Vishwas and Abhijeet were not a whole lot better in their earlier days than the participants which you are hearing right now. Give them time (a couple of episodes) and then we all will be in a better position to judge/comment. Remember, they may have good voice but there is a phenomenon called stage-fright and these participants are still not immune to that. I have seen seasoned performers suffer from stage-fright...these are newbies...Once they get over it, you will hear a very different voice...Give them some time...until then...I would just find out their good points...not hit their weak spots.😛

I am not surprised that HR chose Anita Bhat. She has that Joyeeta type voice
which he apparently likes (Joyeeta was his first choice). I feel like they both
sound like a tired Lata.
