C07 Big let down

Hi friends, saw the first episode of this years challenge and was very dissappointed. Except for s couple of singers rest were bad,mediocre singing, bad dressing, it was a total letdown. Happened to see the previous episodes of srgmp.Such fantastic singing, decent down to earth attitude and such fantastic judges. Guess the quality of the show is def. going from bad to worse. Also why no singers from the south. Karunya and Hemu were such good singers. Most of the singers are from the east and they have chosen the really bad ones this time. happened to see marathi srgmp. The 2 female finalists were awesome. Wonder why they were not chosen. Cant understand on what basis they select the contestants. Already missing Nihira, Hemu, Shreya, Bela even Vinit and Debo were better than this current lot. Aur judges ka toh kya kehna. BOLTI BAND HO GAYEE, MIND BLOW HO GAYAA.

hi friends please express your opinions. am i the only one who is dissappointed with C07. or there are others who feel the quality of the show is sliding.

I agree. I am not impressed with SAREGAMAPA Challenge 2007.

i knoww... and i agree with u...i totally respect all the judges but i think they shud practise to improve thier speech.. some judges speaks faltoo speeches..sorry to be rude...but thts wot i felt...i think they started this show too quickly or maybe they are in a competion with indian idol 3..but it seems lyke indian ido 3 show is well prepared...but i still lyke sa re gama pa ...coz they show real emotions without putting a background music 😆 ...i think everyone from the judges to the contestant should prepare themselves before cuming to the show

I wrote his post earlier today labeled Super Four in 2005.
Himani, Hemachandra, Nihira and Vinit. I miss them soooooooo much after watch the besura singers of 2007. ALl the top 12 were pretty good in 2005 in comparison. Except maybe Mauli who can compare to the super four.

NObody matched them. Green Signals throughout. The were not the best out of the worst, but clearly amazing.

Anyway, I believe it's in the process of chosing singers. The mentors were forced to chose the best out of particular regions. If there is no good singer in a particular region than don't take them just because you have to. And if there 10 good singers in one region, they should be chosen. Plus, what happened to south singers. So we would rather chose singers from Abroad instead of South. I live in the US so nothing against NRI's etc, but i am just curious why they chose to just give the composers one region like that. It's strange. I am not comfortable with this new process of chosing singers. It's messed up the whole contest. Oh well that's how they have chosen to do it.

But really I felt like all the mentors. I did not enjoy any of the performances.

Yes, I'm not impressed so far. Big letdown after C2005 and Lil Champs. Hopefully the singers will improve. 😕 Drama is certainly not lacking though, courtesy the 'magical' mentors.

Yea I feel the same way...but maybe it's just because the show began perhaps... 😕

well i like it so far.....

We dont have to compare them to C2005 singers. They are in a different league. The pity here is that even l'il champs like sanchita, abro, pawni, shradda are better than most of this lot.
I only hope they will improve with time and give us our moneys worth before the end of the show

Let's give them some time and see how it goes.

Here's hoping that the worst is over and the best is yet to come!
