i thimk himesh was right

i think when he said that if u want to perform pancham and asha bhonsle's songs by contestants...so they will never reach to their level...so let them be their own ...and let them sing what they want...i think himesh was right

well its not the contestants fault...i mean they were given this theme.....

well, then why was a rd burman special arranged in the first place😆 i am sure the mentors know of it well in advance...i remember when sanjay leela bhansali came in C2005, everyone was well informed in advance that its gonna be a LP special - and everyone prepared for it... and if they had this thinking, they shud have discussed it with the director of the show before the episode was recorded...now why in the middle of an episode u start objecting to it... and its not the first time - we had an RD burman special in C2005 and himesh was a part of that too... he did not object at that time... so i just wonder why such an issue now...

I dont think Himesh was right. What was wrong was Himesh was comparing each contestant as Panchamda and Ashaji which was wrong.

Who says noone can be like Panchamda or Ashaji.... There is noone at present but in future there can be someone.... better than them.... Also the contestants have to be selected based on all kinds of song so such themes should be coming.....

but Himesh is reading the scripted versions so..... who is at fault 😛

Agreed. By that argument, no contestant should sing a hit song, because they will be compared with the original. So should they only sing the bad songs which no one remembers? In the past people have sung hit songs and walked away with laurels. Yesterday the contestants were not singing upto the mark, that is all that was there. Himesh brought in this whole controversy to deflect attention from this simple fact.🤢

I think they all sang ok. I mean comeon this was the first episdoe yaar. Imagine performing in front of huge audience and legends like Ashaji and Gulam Ali sahab anybody would be nervous. Give it some time let the contestant brake in and they will be fine.

Okay my memory might be faulty, but I think last time somehow within the first couple of episodes I had already started liking many people. Not all of them lived up to the initial expectation, but atleast I started having favourites. And in each episode, I could say-- this guy/girl was the best. This time, I am just not getting that feeling. From yesterdays singing I can't say anyone was the best, just less bad than the others. Well maybe they will be less stressed tomorrow. I'll keep hope atleast for another few eppies. 😕
