Agnipariksha Round - Episode Dated - 7th July 2007

Hey Friends

From this week we start with Agnipariksha in Saregamapa.. Yesterday the finalists performed and the results for the Brahmastra were announced were Raja and Harpreet entered Agnipariksha after being selected by the public and joined the Hit Squad..

Today's Group Performance..

The show begins with the 14 finalists and Aditya singing the title song of Saregamapa.. After the performance, Aditya greets everyone and announces that now the competition is getting tougher and its all in public's hands as to whom they want to bring in.. The participants have to really work hard to get through.. As its all going to be music for the participants, Nokia is providing the finalists with a Nokia 5700 phone where they can store 500 songs and listen to them.. They can sit in their bunglow and perform.. He distributes it to all the contestants..

Josh Gharana:

Aditya first calls Sumedha and he addresses her as Barbie doll of Josh gharana.. 😛 She sings Aaj ki raat from Don

ID - To Sumedha - Voice was good, But sur is also important - concentrate on that.. To Mauli - I am going to do an album with you so telling to you in that point of view.. What ever talent you have is not been shown.. To Abhijit - Your actual voice was not heard.. You were trying to imitate original singer.. From next time try to sing in your own voice..

Himesh - He says today all the verdict will be given by Aditya on behalf of Himesh.. This episode is dedicated to Aditya - July 7th is for Aditya.. You are there as a host, but now you will also give comment on behalf of me..

Aditya(on behalf of Himesh) is now confused and asks should he comment.. Himesh asks him to comment on the performance..

Aditya to Sumedha - Energy was good, Liked the performance..
To Abhijit - I am afraid to comment on the performance, dunno when he will beat me - You are tall and so much strength you have in your voice also.. But need to improve..
To Mauli - Always like your performance when you are on stage.. After a long time I enjoyed your performance.. When he says this, Audience gives an applause.. He starts blushing..

Himesh asks Mauli and Aditya if they have BF and GF respectively.. They deny it and he asks again if they are sure.. They again deny it.. They both were blushing 😆 He then says, listening to this he can sing only one thing - "Jhooth Nahin Bolna" 😆

After this, Aditya asks other mentors to comment on the performance..

Shekhar:

To Mauli - Performance is good, but wen you go behind the mike, your flaws will be evidently shown..
To Abhijit - Taal Sambhalna zaroori hai
To Sumedha - Concentrate on Sur

Bappida - You all need to improve for the next performance.. Will ask the public to vote for you..

Yalgaar Gharana:

Amanat singsYa Rabba from Salaam-e-ishq.. After his performance, Shekhar comes to stage and appreciates his performance.. He says if SEL listens to his voice, they will be very happy.. Good performance 👏

Shekhar -
Poonam was awesome.. I am a big of Amanat.. To Rimi - Himesh has sung this song and was really good.. But you did not do the justice..

I will call Poonam to be pocket size power house.. To Rimi - I like all songs of Himesh.. good song choice, but you could have chosen the softer version of this.. To Amanat - You were very good..

Himesh comments saying - you are a star Aditya.. You have every knowledge of singing..

Amanat is a star.. To Rimi - You did not sing like how Himesh sang.. You did not do justice.. To Poonam - you were very good..

ID requests VS to give contract to Poonam.. Vishal says they were just now thinking of saying this that if there is one girl singer who is ready for recording then it is Poonam.. So, they are giving the chance..

ID calls VS as farishtha and asks all those who have been given the chance by VS, to thank them from heart..

ID - Apurva sang well.. Harpreet was not as usual.. He can sing much better.. Junaid gave a good try.. Raja was very good..

Shekhar - I will give individual comments later, but all sang well..
Aditya:
Raja has the potential to win this contest.. Apurva's song selection was very good.. Harpreet was a bit afraid and tensed but still performed well.. Junaid as said by the judges could have done better in the low notes

Himesh praises Aditya for giving these comments and says he is a star and genuinely he will go very far if he has so much knowledge in this young age.. Aditya was just confused and blushing all the time 😆

Rock Gharana:

Comments:

Bappida - Mussarat's song was rock style song.. He did well.. Nirupama's voice quality is good.. Joy also sang well.. He speaks something to Aneek in bengali saying he sang well.. He then starts singing also - Pyaar karte karte (Chalte chalte song).. You all 4 are good.. This song is for all the participants..

Shekhar - Just now was asking Bappida to sing some song and he did it.. Thanks him and tells he has created a good mood here..

ID also says to Bappida, he sang so well now that he is feeling very good.. To Mussarat he says - "He always reminds in the upper notes, now he has come down, but needs to come down still".. Nirupama's voice quality was good - But she went off sur.. Joy also sang Alvida, he then sarcastically comments on the composition of that song saying - dunno what song it was.. He sang well even that song, so all credit goes to Joy.. Aneek is a powerful performer.. He sang very well..

VS say Nirupama's voice will suite for recording.. Mussarat has always been good.. Aneek's performance was so good that it left behind the other's performances..

Aditya:
Nirupama's performance was good.. Mussarat was unprepared for the song, but still sang well.. Aneek has lot of potential to win this contest.. Joy also sang well..

After this, Himesh praises Aditya and thanks him for not letting him down by taking his position as the judge nor did he let down the audience.. Aditya is star of Saregamapa..

First Elimination (Episode Dated - 13th July 2007)

Hey Friends

Today is the first elimination in the Agnipariksha round.. So, lets quickly start with the update..

The episode begins with an AV.. They show the makeup room where all the contestants are getting the final touch of makeup and the room in itself is very tensed as every one are excited to know the results.. They are then shown practicing with their new Nokia phone..

Theme - Celebration for Taj being the first wonder of the world:

Aditya begins the show by singing Mast bahaaron ka main aashique.. He then says - Saara jahaan pyaar ke liye hai and this has been proved the audience votes.. they have made Taj as the first wonder of the world. Aaj Taj aur pyaar ki jeet huyi hai.. The AV of contestants performance during Ek shyaam Taj ke naam episode is shown.. And to celebrate this the contestants are dedicating this episode to Taj and will be singing the old romantic songs..

Aditya introduces the mentors - Disco king Bappida, the youngest mentors Vishal and Shekhar, Happening Himesh and Inevitable Ismail Darbar.. He also says nearly 9,50,000 votes have been received for this week.

Format for announcing results:

There will be 3 lights, Green which means Congrats and through to next round.. Yellow means Word Hard - That is they are in bottom 3 and have to work hard to get the audience votes.. Red meaning Hard Luck and are eliminated.. Each contestant will be called and given the light.. If they get yellow, then they are in bottom 3 and will have to wait to know if they are eliminated or not..

First Gharana - Yalgaar:

Before announcing the results, the previous week's performance of all the contestants are shown..

Aditya calls all the contestants of this gharana.. Amanat is the first to know the result.. Aditya says, last week his performance was liked by Shekhar so, lets see if he has got through.. He gets green

Poonam is the next. Aditya says she got very good comments from all the mentors.. she also gets green..

But the unlucky one is Rimi who gets yellow light.. Aditya says she did not perform upto her potential last week. But ID had requested everyone to vote her but unfortunately she got yellow light..

Performance:

Amanat sings Hamein tumse pyaar kitna from Kudrat.. Before his performance, ID says this song is sung by both Kishoreda and Parveen Sultana. The version that Amanat is going to sing is the version of Parveen Sultana.. So, please listen to the song carefully.. During his performance, an AV is shown where he is practicing in the lawn

Musarrat - Aditya says he was not given very good comments, so lets see what light he gets.. But he is through and gets green

When Joy was about to get his result, he says he is remembering his mother who is with his aunt.. Himesh says then he will get through as he is reminding his mother.. He adds that all the mother's in this world have given him blessings and that is why Aap ka suroor is a big hit and dedicates this movie to all the mother's in the world..

Nirupama - Aditya's comments - Only her voice was praised.. But now she has got green..

Aneek - Aditya says, he got standing ovation from VS, lets see if he has got it from audience also.. Yes, he has got green..

Himesh thanks the audience and on behalf of all the mentors and Zee tv he thanks the audience for bringing this show to this level..

Junaid says - "ofcourse he does not deserve to be in Bottom 3"

Rimi says - "She was not well even in the last episode and even today as she has infection in her eyes".. Today is her father's birthday so dont know what gift she is going to give him..

Apurva first is shown public's verdict.. He is through.. gets green.. Shekhar then comments on his statement and says he did not like his attitude - he should not have said that..

Rimi is then shown public's verdict.. She gets red light and so Junaid is safe..

Agnipariksha - Round 2 - Theme - Rain Songs (Episode Dated July 14th 2007)

Yesterday we saw the first elimination in Agnipariksha.. Rimi of Yalgaar gharana was out.. Today all contestants will try their best to perform well to grab the votes from the audience..

After Aditya's greetings and introduction of the mentors, the episode begins with the Vishal and Shekhar singing the title song of Cash.. They were in full energy as usual, using the whole stage and even the participants danced with them and had full fun.. After the performance, Aditya asks them about what is different in this music?

Vishal Shekhar request the audience to watch the movie and also buy the CD and listen to the song.. Shekhar says there is lot of madness in the music and this is more because the director Anubhav Sinha has given them total freedom..Vishal says, If you put the CD you will not stop from tapping your legs..

Guests for Today

Aditya says there is also a surprise and the cast of Cash are here - Shamita Shetty and Dia Mirza..

He asks them what is special about Cash? Shamita answers that it is an action thriller and is total fun and entertainment.. Asks Dia, what is her role in the movie - She says, she plays the role of the thief, but she is not a petty thief.. Then aditya asks her is there anyone who saves the cash? Shamita says, she is the one to do so.. Dia adds saying there is no hindi action thriller movie which is like Cash... A small promo of the movie is shown in the AV..

Theme:

As the votes are pouring in like rain, today contestants will sing Barsaat ke songs (Rain songs)

Junaid - He sings woh lamhe from Zehar.. A small AV of his where he is getting wet in the rain is shown.. today he is wearing a very colorful dress.. Red T-shirt, orange pant and white coat along with yellow cap 😆

Dia - This is a very good song and you sang it very well.. Himesh says its his favorite song and so he will sing this.. He goes to the stage and starts singing.. Then comes back, gives an hand to Shekhar and sits back in the seat..

Yalgaar gharana:

Poonam - she sings Baras ja -e- badal. An AV is shown where she is practicing in beach. Aditya says, this small girl has set stage on fire..

Shamita - You were having fun while singing. It was evident from your singing.
Dia - you had full energy.. Poonam continues that this is first time she is dancing and its all because of you..

Amanat - sings Sawan bheetha jaaye bhadarwa. He gives a wonderful performance.. 👏

Dia - This is a beautiful song and i was listening while coming here.. You put in all the emotion in the song..
Shamita - I have become your fan, I will vote for you..

Vishal - I am a big fan of yours and that is why request you to sing different genre songs..

HR - asks Amanat what he should give for him.. He says, he should give him 20.. so, Himesh gives him 10

An AV is then shown and Aditya says in SRGM 1999, Amanat's uncle (Sharfat Ali) was the runners up and his father (Nazakat Ali) was the winner.. Hope he continues the tradition..

ID - I will give you 100 for this performance.. To counter Vishal's point, he says Amanat sang - Jaane kahaan gaye woh din, tera jadoo chal gaya, mere naina sawan badho songs which all are of different genre.. Next episode he will sing VS song which is rock type and show them that he is versatile.. VS wish him luck and say they will teach him..

Rock Gharana:

Joy - says his brother has come from Assam and with all love from that state.. he sings bheegi bheegi raaton main from Adnam Sami album. In the AV he is shown practicing with an umbrella in the rain

Comments:

Dia - Talks to him in Bengali.. She asks if he knows bengali as he is from Assam.. he says he is a Bengali.. She says, he sang well..

Shamita - Tumhaare sur kahiin choot rahe thee..

Vishal - Joy, I am enjoying.. Gives 8
Bappida - gives 7
ID - gives 7 - asks him if he had ladoo in his mouth how he will sing.. He sings that for him..
HR - I agree with the points given.. Each one have their point of view.. Adnam songs are tough.. If he has got 7 for this, then it means 10, 12, 15 from public

Nirupama - sings Tip tip barsa pani from Mohra.. An AV is shown where she is practicing in the balcony

Comments:

Shamita - your voice was sweet.. sang well..
Dia - Every year contestants quality is improving.. So, to stay back you need to perform very well..

Bappida - gives 7 - He sings one line and says there should be more emotion in the song..
VS - No emotion.. Gives 7 - Even without words if you sing well with emotion, it will be good
ID - you sang well both days.. So give you 8
HR - I liked her performance.. Lets see what votes comes in.

Mussarat - first says - today Amanat was very good.. My first vote goes for him.. I am not sure how well I am going to sing.. For this Bappida and ID encourages him and says, he will do well..

Aneek - he is being called as chota-mota bengal ka tiger by Aditya. He sings Jaane kya chaihe mera mann from Pyaar ke side effects.. Wonderful performace.. 👏👏👏 An AV is shown where he is sitting on the rock and performing..

Himesh - he stands after his performance and says very good.. Along with him even VS give him a standing ovation.. He then comes on the stage to praise him.. He says, he was very good and its not that easy that VS are giving a standing ovation for him.. Listening to this all mentors give a standing ovation again..

Dia - You were introduced as chota sa mota sa.. But you are neither small nor fat.. you look so beautiful.. Himesh is over excited and pats his back..
ID says this guy is very romantic at this age..
Dia - This is truly evident from his singing.. Whom did you see and sing??
ID - He was seeing you and singing..
Aneek - I really like Dia but when this costume was given to me, I told Mauli that I will say - "Dia didi, mujhe ek lollypop dedo"..
ID comes on stage.. HR and ID asks Why change the relationship.. Tell what ever you want to say..
HR - even if the lady rejects, no problem.. You will get many sad songs to sing.. That will make you a star..

Aneek then proposes Dia saying - "I Love you"

everyone are so excited.. Vishal sings a song for this situation - "nasha yeh pyaar ka nasha hain" Himesh is also excited says lets see what is the reply for this..

Dia says - "I love you too"

The whole set is totally enjoying this situation.. Then Dia interrupts and says - "I said only for your singing"

Elimination Round 2 - Update Dated - 20th July 2007

Hey Friends

Today is the elimination episode where one contestant will be eliminated among the final 13 participants.

The show beings with the girl contestants singing Oh Ajnabee song from Train.. They all sit on the sofa chair and sing.. The boys are singing and performing.. They all are standing on the chair and Aditya is in between them.. Group by Group they start singing and then all together they finish the song.. All are wearing black dresses..

Aditya greets everyone and says more than 10 lakh votes has been received and also thanks the audience for their support and love for the show.. He says one contestant will be out today..

Theme - All contestants will sing Club songs..

Today the results will be announced starting from Josh Gharana..

Shakira of India Mauli, Barbie doll Sumedha and Maharashtra ke gaurav enter the stage as Aditya calls them on to stage..

Abhijit - Aditya says He sang songs of Kishoreda and Suresh Wadkar.. He is Maharashtra's gaurav.. Lets see if he is through.. Then green light flashes..

Bappida says to Abhijit - Jai Maharashtra

Sumedha - Aditya says her performance was liked by all the mentors and lets see what the Barbie doll of Chattisgargh has got today.. Green light flashes for her also

Mauli - Aditya says, you sang songs that was different from your style and there was big debate on whether you must sing such songs or not.. Lets see what the public has for you.. Yellow light flashes for her..

Bappida says to Mauli - Dont worry, if you are in Trishanku.. You sing well next time to which Mauli says to the audience -- If I get the chance to sing in next round, I will prove myself..

When Himesh is asked how he felt about the performance, he said - he has some complaints on the tracks being played.. Harmony's track was low and the contestants were singing in baseline.. Aditya asks Ismail Darbar - how he feels as one contestant is no more than in the contest to which he replies - "Chota parivaar sukhi parivaar" 😆 If given the opportunity i will take them further to finals.. But its all in hands of the voters..

Amanat - He tells a short poetry.. Last line said - Mujhe uski saza na do, jiski khata maine naki.. He gets green..

Agnipariksha Round 3 - Salman Khan as the guest - Update dated 21st July 2007

Hey Friends

Today is going to be a fun episode.. Lets now quickly get started with the update..

Initial performances, Theme and Introduction of Guests

The show begins with all the participants along with Aditya singing Ho gaya re Ho gaya from Partner. First the guys and Aditya start singing (you are my love) and then the girls continue.. All the contestants are having some instruments in their hand and are also playing it. Amanat and Raja have drums, Junaid has a guitar. Girls are also having some or the other instrument. once they complete, Do you want a partner song is played in the background and Salman enters the stage from somewhere down the stage.. The promo of the film is also shown.. Even now the contestants are playing their respective instruments.

Aditya welcomes Salman.. Salman asks - "Kitna bada ho gaya hain yeh, Iske naak se bhi tapakte thee when I met him first" He asks Aditya if he remembers or he has forgotten.. Aditya says the film name was Jab pyaar kisi se hota hain.. The scenes where Salman and Aditya played the important role in the movie is shown.. Salman says - Aditya used to play cards when he was a child..

Aditya asks Salman to talk about the movie Partner.. He says the movie has had a good opening and he had to do a lot of hard work as govinda was part of it and he made him do the shots more than 10 times until its perfect. Its a funny picture and it was fun doing it.. The hardwork can be seen in the picture..

Aditya calls Lara on stage.. He calls her aunty as Salman had asked him to address her like that.. Lara asks him not to call like that and says she will call Salman as bhai then. Salman then asks Aditya not to call her aunty. About the movie she says - she is a Journalist in the movie and she is one who is always behind stories and she is behind Salman as he is one among Don gang.. She wishes all the contestants best of luck.. Today all contestants will sing Salman's hit songs.. Salman says - "He will not allow if they sing Aamir or Shahrukh songs" 😆

Performance of the Contestants:

Rock Gharana

Joy - Salman gives him an advice before he starts.. He says - "Naak se mat gaana".. You can remove the topi. So, remove it.. Himesh says - "Salman is in front and he cannot say anything now".. Joy says - "He loves Salman and will love till end of the life.. Salman thanks him..

He sings - Dil keh raha hain from kyunki.. The energy level was really good..

Comments:

Lara - The way you sang with fun and energy - I liked the performance..
Salman - I liked your performance, but did not like the way you hold the mike.. You should have hold it in Himesh's style.. Have worn, Jacket, Cap so you should have done this also.. Himesh says - "I cannot say anything when Salman is in front of me".. Salman then continues - You could have done better, but was so good.. This would have been Himesh's first song but Kunal sang it (asks Himesh who sang then gets the answer from Joy) In this song there is a different style adopted by Kunal - you tried to bring it - but you could have done better.. But somehow you did well.. Himesh says - "Naak se nahin gaaaya na isiliye 😆

Himesh - He praises Salman.. He says he is a good human being.. There is no one like him and for his carrier he is the important person.. He goes to the stage - removes Aneek's coat and shirt and asks him to perform.. Aneek is totally confused but then he had to perform so continues..

he sings O O jaane jaana from Pyaar kiya toh darna kyaa..

Aditya says - Once more and asks the audience if they want Salman on stage or not.. Salman asks Aneek to wear the shirt again.. He says - he will give 2.5 for his body, 4.5 for confidence and 2.5 for his singing...

Amanat - Before singing, he says he wants to make body like Salman but is unable to and trying to hard to make one.. Salman said he had made body for Himesh also.. Says - "See how he is roaming with jacket open".. As soon as my career packs up, I will get into this job of teaching body building.. Himesh asks him to to praise about Naak, sur etc.. Salman says - "naak se gaata hain toh gaata hain yaar" and then continues - "himesh as a music director is very good and thinks about him and also others" He sings chori chori from Lucky No time for love..

Salman - There is no problem in Sur, voice is so good.. Asks him when he started preparing.. He says one week back.. Salman says - "that is why the lyrics were not proper" Gives 8.5 - would give .5 more for jacket but cut it for the pant..

Lara - Outstanding.. Gives 8.5

Aditya says Harpreet is Devdas type and sings sad songs, but today sang such fast number.. Harpreet says he had heard this song is salman's favorite and so chose this song..

VS - again give him a standing ovation.
Salman says - If there is someone who can break this flow, then that is only Bappida asks him to give him 10. Tells, - " main aapke pair padta hoon.. Kyaa kar rahe ho". Bappida speaks nothing and gives 10..

VS are really excited about this and says they are really lucky to have him in their gharana.

Raja tells Salman that it was a wish come true for him. He had once wanted to meet him but he could not. He could not get Salman but got Arbaaz. So, told him lies that he was music director.. Salman says he should have said he is a producer.. He says he has a good connection with Jodhpur also..

Next Aditya calls Hunk of Saregamapa - Junaid on stage.

Before the performance, Junaid speaks to Salman. He says he has nothing to say all is said and done by other contestants. But he has been a big fan of Salman and has always followed him while work outs. He always does a step that Salman does in Hello Brother and he does that and shows to Salman. Salman does not remember then Junaid makes him remember that it was the step when he used to meet Arbaaz in the movie. Salman says he is always there in present and future and does not consider about the past.

Junaid sings Aisa pehli baar hua hain from Har dil jo pyaar karega.. During his performance, VS stand and dance and so does Salman. After his performance they says they are really proud of him..

Salman asks him from where he takes the voice? All of them in audience, Shekhar shout - Once More.. He then starts singing.. All the mentors except Bappida start dancing for the song. They all come out of their place onto stage. Salman also enters the stage. The other contestants come out and start dancing. All mentors too start singing the song that Junaid sings.

Final Performance by all

Himesh says something to Salman in his ears softly. Then he starts waving his hands. So, does Salman in HR's ears.

The title song of partner starts getting played.. Do you want a partner is played - Salman sarcastically replies NO.. All are enjoying the song.. Himesh and Salman hold the same mike and start singing and shouting. It doesnot seem like they have a rift between them 😕

Bappida says there is a movie of Lara Dutta in which all songs are sung by Mauli. Lara says - this is one show which has so much of talents.. May the best one win..

Everyone are enjoying and dancing on stage and thus the show ends 😊

Last week Salman Khan rocked the show with his presence.. And today the public's decision will be out..

Group Performance:

The show begins with Aditya singing Gaata rahe mera dil.. The stage has a cardboard tree and a car.. There are few participants like Joy, Poonam, Harpreet, Amanat who are holding that car and also singing along with Aditya.. Mauli, Nirupama and Sumedha enter the stage singing Jhumka gira re bareli ke bazaar mein.. As they leave and join the group holding the car, Abhijit and Raja enter from behind the tree singing zindagi ek safar hai suhana.. They all leave the stage after the performance..

Theme - 1960 and 1970's songs.. Guest - Hrithesh Deshmukh

Aditya announces that today is the elimination day and today's theme will be songs from 1960's and 1970's.. To support the contestants today on show we have Hritesh Deshmukh.. Aditya announces that he is a Cool Dude and a versatile actor.. He enters the stage and the title song of Cash is played in the background.. VS come on stage listening to this and start singing.. Even Hritesh sings few lines, but we hear only the original song.. Vishal says he will take this opportunity to introduce Hrithesh to this show and says this is a very cool show.. Hritesh replies that "He has been watching this show and last week he and his dad watched the show and enjoyed it.. This has great talent.. Wishes best of luck for the participants and says they all are looking great and wish he had got for him a great costume like them..

When Aditya asked him what his role is in Cash he said "I play the role of Lucky who is a thief and Mere fees mein jitne zeroes hain utne kamm sawal poochta hoon main".. The promo of cash is shown on screen..

Number of Votes - Aditya says that this week they have received 14lakh + votes..

The performance session with Aditya revealing the results of the Josh gharana:

Josh Gharana:

Before telling the votes, Ismailji asks Aditya - "In josh you have even worn sun glasses" to which he replies that he has Conjuctivities and Ismailji asks what is that he replies its eye flu and so Ismailji says even I can wear glasses and he wears a sun glass.. Aditya asks the audience to applaud for him..

The first to know the result is Barbie Doll Sumedha - Aditya says Salman khan praised her for the last week's performance and said she sang better than the original so lets see what public has for her - she gets a green

Mauli - Aditya says she was Trishanku last week but the judges said that "Mauli is Back" so lets see what public has voted.. She gets green

Abhijit - Aditya says - for the first time you were seen on form last week.. Lets see what Maharashtra ke gaurav gets today.. he gets yellow..

Bappida - Abhijit has a manly voice.. If public likes him, they will bring him..

Performance:

Sumedha - Raat akeli hain from Jewel Thief.. Awesome performance 👏👏👏
A small AV is shown where she is practicing with her mobile phone..

Mauli - Parde mein rehne do from Shikari.. She also speaks in Gujarati while asking for votes.. She was good too..

Sumedha and Mauli are called on stage.. Sumedha says her mom, massi, cousin bro, fav uncle and aunty and her little friends have come here.. Aditya asks her mother how she is feeling.. She thanks SRGMP for providing such a huge platform for all the contestants.. She also adds that now Sumedha has got a good name and is also getting recognition.. Aditya says - "yes she has got the name Barbie doll" her mother replies - "it feels great when she is called so"

Even Mauli's family members have come and her uncle has come all the way from Texas to watch her.. He says he is so proud that Mauli is from his family..
Bappida also praises Mauli and sumedha for singing so well..

Yalgaar Gharana:

Aditya says - "lets see if Ismailji's chota parivaar, sukhi parivaar is sukhi or becomes more small" Anubhav Sinha the director of Cash enters the sets and says about Cash all i can say is - "If you watch cash, you will have fun and if you have fun, I will get cash" 😆 He also adds his mother watches this program without even missing a single episode and whenever he goes back home at this time, he will get to watch it on TV sets..

There is a break and after that Aditya says that family doctor of Ismailji has come to cheer his contestants..

Amanat tells a sher.. I couldnt note it down.. sorry for that.. Aditya says - "Amanat is considered to be one of the most versatile singer in this contest and he also gave very good performance last week and also asked for few tips from Salman" He gets green

Poonam - Aditya says she sang one of the toughest song of Ismailji and got applause from salman. Lets see if public gives her support.. She too gets green..

Performance:

Amanat sings Rasmein Ulfat ko nibhaaye from dil ki baatein.. Awesome again.. 👏👏 A small AV of him walking of the streets is shown..

Poonam sings shubu shubu from Anamika.. Good one 👏👏

Before comments Shekhar says that Anubhav Sinha has a very good knowledge over music and he brings music from all over the world.. The actual credit for their music should go to him..

Anubhav says Shekhar has given me huge responsibility.. he says to Amanat that Bhaav, Talafuz and Sur everything was very good and at right place and to Poonam he says he is also from small city and coming to bombay and singing in front of these people is in itself appreciable.. Hats off to you..

Hritesh says that his father is big fan of Amanat and so does he.. for Poonam he says "Small things come in big packages" He will vote for her..

ID - Now I understand the meaning of Hum do hamare do concept.. If before I had understood, i would have not had 5 children.. I am so happy with these two 😆 Poonam is becoming powerful and her pocket size is increasing its all because of your mother.. For Amanat he says only yesterday Bappida told him that there is a song in one of Bappida's movie by K.C.Bokaria where Amanat is singing a song.. Bappida says he is proud of this stage SRGMP for providing such huge talent 😊

Hit Squad:

Raja, Harpreet and Junaid come on stage..

Raja's father has come to the sets.. He says he is very happy to be here and his brother and now his son is doing well in music.. He gets green.. Again he is the top vote gainer..

Hapreet - Aditya says he was a trishanku last time but his performance last week made Salman dance.. He gets green..

Junaid - Aditya says his performance made all of them come on stage and dance.. Lets see what public has for him.. He too gets green..

All the 3 hug each other.. Aditya says this is first time VS have got clean sweep

Performance:

Junaid sings Oh haseena zulfon waali from teesri manzil.. Good performance
Raja sings Humko tumpe pyaar aaya from jab jab phool khile.. Energetic again..
Harpreet sings aaja aaja main hoon pyaar tera from teesri manzil.. There is a fan of Harpreet and is also niece of Bappida - she has come from Washington DC to watch Harpreet.. Aditya asks what she has seen in Harpreet.. ID asks Aditya not to go in depth and let the secrets remain.. The girl replies there is nothing like that..

All of them were awesome 👏👏👏

Anubhav says all three were very good.. Raja's performance was the best..
Hritesh says Junaid was very confident that he wanted to come on stage and dance..
Vishal - you three are best contestants of SRGMP.. You have to maintain that.. Shekhar - Next time you perform all must give standing ovation

Rock Gharana:

Aneek - Aditya says Aneek performed really well on front of Salman and he was also made to take off his shirt.. He gets green
Mussarat gets Yellow

Between Joy and Nirupama any one of them will get yellow.. Joy says we both are brother and sister and will feel bad who ever goes out..

Joy gets green and Nirupama gets yellow..

Himesh asks all of them to vote for girls also as the votes for them is getting really less..

Performance:

Joy sings gori tera gao bada pyaara from chitchor..
Aneek sings dil jona keh saka from Bheegi raat.. He sings well

Anubhav sings, Joy sang with lot of emotion but there were few places where he added extra fittings that were not present in the song.. Otherwise he sang well.. Aneek being a Bengali, his diction was very good..

Hritesh says he is a big fan of Himesh and wishes him Belated Happy Birthday.. Himesh thanks him and says Anubhav is a very good director and has some good music dedicated in his name.. For Hritesh he says, the song featurized on Hritesh Jaane-be-ali actually changed Himesh to give new different types of songs..

Himesh says Aneek and Amanat sang very well today and Joy is a singer who sings "Bheegi Bheegi type of songs" for him to sing such different type of songs is difficult.. He did outstandingly well..

Abhijit sings Gulabi Aankhein from The Train
Mussarat sings Kaun hain jo sapno mein aaya from Juk gaya aasman
Nirupama sings I love you from Hare Rama Hare Krishna..

Himesh says to public please note that Nirupama has sung the song which 2 playback singers have sung.. Ashaji and usha utup.. She wanted to try something different so I didnot want to stop her.. Its same with Mussarat.. He is a very good singer.. But he has a different genre and it would be better if he can stick on to that.. Vishal questions here about versatility again and says here we are to search for a talent who can sing all type of songs.. To this Anubhav comments saying if the singer is in safe zone then he can try any song but not one who is in danger zone.. Himesh agrees and says let them for now sing those which they are comfortable..

Mussarat gets green.. Himesh asks him to stick to his genre songs from next performance..

Abhijit also gets green.. Hritesh speaks in Marathi to Abhijit and i think he says you are not only a good singer, but also a good performer.. Bappida says he prayed to Siddhi Vinayak for him..

So. Nirupama is out..

The AV of her journey is shown.. All come to stage to console her.. Himesh asks her not to cry and says he will give her a break and she will sing a duet with him in the film where he is going to act, and also give music..

Agnipariksha Round 4 - Vidya Balan and Shajid as guests - Episode Dated July 28th 2007

Yesterday we saw that Nirupama got out.. Today is the performance round..

Group Performance:

Aditya Narayan along with other contestants sing the title song of Hey Baby because today's guests are Vidya Balan who is the actress in this movie and Shajid who is the producer of this film.. As they complete the performance, the guests enter the stage..

Shajid says this show has a very good standard and all contestants are doing really well.. He also adds the top four MDs of the industry are here.. Lets give them applause.. All applaud for the MDs..

Vidya Balan says she is happy to be here.. Vishal asks her to say "Good Morning Mumbai" in the same style as she said in LRMB.. She does so..

Aditya says Vidya has always been associated with Zee.. She started her career with this tv with Hum Paanch serial and asks how she is feeling now to be part of this show.. She says, she has always been following this show without fail and likes this show a lot..

The promo of the movie is shown then.. Aditya asks both Shajid and Vidya about the movie.. Vidhya says she makes all the men cry in the movie but its fun and hope audience enjoy the movie.. Shajid says "Saare mard kamine hote hain" and they are made to cry because of Vidhya..

Theme - Today all the contestants will sing the songs of their favorite singers

Junaid's favorite singer is Sonu Nigam and he says he follows Sonu and that is why he is his favorite singer.. sings Yeh dil deewana from Pardes.

Vidhya - I liked the energy.. sarcastically says I think technically Shajid will say..
Shajid asks Junaid What was the third line you sang? Junaid sings the line.. Shajid says yes that was good one.. If your CD comes out, I will buy and one more thing is I am going to say this for all the contestants 😆

HR - I would want to give you 10, but you made some mistakes in the Anthra.. Would give you 8.5.. Himesh wonders whether to give 8 or 9.. Shekhar then asks, if he can give.. Himesh says yes.. Shekhar presses 9.

ID - You sang well.. gives 8

Bappida - If you had sung the low notes properly, you would have done better.. Gives 8..

To this comment Shajid says - "note this point of Bappida.. If you sing properly in low notes - producer will say - "Lo Notes" 😆😆😆

Shajid - You sang very well.. He asks why did you close your mouth after performance? That usually girls do.. He says "Rote huye aur haste huye main bura dikhta hoon" so to control that I closed my mouth.. Shajid says you are not only a good singer, but also a good lyricist.. You are next Hazrat Jaipuri of our industry.. He asks Vidhya Balan to do that which raja did.. she too closes her mouth and smiles

Vishal - I am really proud of you.. You sang very well..

Vidhya - You sang well.. showing little Nervousness is also good and that you showed..

ID - He asks Raja - "among the public truly tell me, who are your family members" he says the whole world is like his family.. gives 10

Bappida - There was some problem in the Anthra.. Shekhar gets up and goes near him.. Then Bappida says there was little trouble in the alaap, but you corrected.. Gives 10..

Vishal says this SRGMP is the best batch as they learn from all the mentors..

HR asks Raja what will you do if you win? he says till his last breathe, he would want to sing for this world.. He also asks what will you do for Rajasthan - he says they have done so much for me.. what will I do for them.

Mussarat's favorite singer is Nusrat Fateh Ali khan sahab.. He sings Sanwre from Bandit Queen..

HR comes on stage and says there is no sufi singer who can even touch him.. Bappida says we have one of the best sufi singer in our contest.. ID and BL both ask him to sing again.. He sings again..

Vidhya - When Nusrat sahab used to sing, he used to sing with ease, but they are difficult songs.. You too did the same.. You sang with ease

Shajid - "Jitna accha tumhaara kurta hain, utni acchi tumhaari awaaz hain"

Bappida after his performance, comes to stage and he gets blessings from him..

Shekhar says during 1996-97 when he used to be a participant, the contestants used to give very tough fight and today seeing Mussarat he remembered that.. He says this is one of his favorite song and so would want to sing a line.. So, he comes on stage and sings..

Joy's favorite singer is SPB.. He sings Aaja Meri Jaan title song..

Shajid - I cannot say who will win this contest, but in my next movie you will definitely sing one song for me.. He also presents him a CD of Hey Baby

Only then Aditya says there are many female fans following for all the contestants, but the major female fan following is for Shekhar and there is a girl called Megan who is the biggest fan.. She is none other than our forum member Aphrodite 👏 He says where ever you go on internet and type Shekhar, there will be many videos available on Shekhar.. Shekhar thanks Megan for this and says he does not even deserve this.. Congrats Aphrodite Aka Megan 👏

Yalgaar Gharana:

Amanat sings Kuch mere dil ne kahaa from tere mere sapnay as his favorite singer is Hariharan.. Before his performance, he says he doesnt know how he will sing, Mussarat created a very good atmosphere here.. HR says you will do 1000 times better..

ID comes on stage and says he is a very neat and clean singer.. HR agrees to this..

To Vidhya Balan he says a sher praising her and telling her that she is very beautiful and when she goes to the mosque there are many who look at her..

Shajid - he says to his sher, he will also say something.. he says - Shyam jawan hain, magar uska baap major thaa 😆😆😆

Poonam sings tere hain baarati

Aditya asks it was as if you were going to get married, you sang so well.. Any plans for that? Poonam says she has lot of responsibilities towards her mother as she is also ill and wants her to get recovered soon.. Only then she can think of anything else..

ID says good you have realized your responsibilities, for what your mother has done for you - you will have to do something for her.. But after you become successful do definitely get married, that is what is the dream of all the mothers..

Aditya says we also caught up with her mother when she went to Lucknow recently.. An AV is shown.. She is first walking on streets and then enters her home.. Its too small and her mom is also sitting there.. She says we have had so many difficulties and her father passed away when she was not even born.. I had to sell bhutka's on the road side for the livelihood.. Poonam then goes to the STD booth where she was working.. She says "I used to work here and used to get only 450 or 500 per month" but that was not even sufficient for the electricity bill we used to get..

Poonam then continues on stage that there is something she wants to share with all of us.. She says there was a day when they had no food at home.. It was around 1.30 in the night when she was very hungry.. Her mom had asked her to get money from the place where she worked but as she was a person who had lot of self respect she didnt want to go and ask as she had already got so much from them in advance.. It was almost 2-3 days that they had not had food.. Then there was little atta present at home and there was not even wood for burning the stove.. So, they burnt the papers and made a little roti out of it and ate.. That is one thing she can never forget..

Vidhya - she says you sang well.. Will pray that you be happy always and will pray for your mom's recovery..
Shajid - My eyes were filled with tears and says "Jo apne maa k sewa karta hain, usko khudba khud madat mil jaati hain"

VS - You are a phenomenal singer.. You know what you have to do and you know what mistakes you have done.. Shekhar maybe wanted to give some other marks but Vishal says let it be Shekhar Give you 10..

Shekhar says you have a powerful voice..

Himesh - Gives 10

Bappida - He sings a song for her - Aana jana laga rahega dukh jayega sukh layega.. You will be one of the toppers.. gives 10

Next to know the result is Harpreet.. Aditya says - Shajid praised him last week and said he sang better than the original.. So, lets see see if he gets through.. He is shown the lights, but unfortunately he gets yellow and is the first Trishanku of today.. Aditya says may be he is not getting the support from Punjab to which Harpreet says "Sabra ka fal meetha hota hain (Waiting for a long time will give a sweet result" to which Vishal adds saying "Sar ooncha hain, you sang well and definitely you will get through"

Next is Junaid - Aditya says he is becoming a dark horse of the contest and is giving some great performances for the past few weeks.. He is then shown the lights and he gets green.. Aditya also says he is leading in international voting to which Vishal says I bet it will be girls.. 😆

Aditya says with this emotion of happiness, the contestants have to sing sad songs as that is our theme for today..

Shekhar to Junaid - You have to concentrate on sur.. You are a mindblowing singer, and the feeling you brought in the song was tremendous, but have to concentrate on sur.. If you had sung this song in our studio, then I would have given this take a Go..

Vishal to Raja - You are trying to come out of your boundary and sing all type of songs and that is what is amazing.. I dont bother what all of them say, but that effort is in itself sufficient..

Yalgaar Gharana:

Aditya says, this is Ismailji's small but happy family but lets see if it remains happy or something bad news is there for them..

First in this gharana is Poonam - Aditya says, she sang a very beautiful song last week and lets see what the public says.. She gets green..

Next is Amanat - Aditya says along with his singing quality, viewers are also getting to know him as shayar.. On this issue Amanat says four lines..

Subah jo akbar mein milega, shyaam ko radhi mein milega..
Aaj Shaurat ka sikka kisike mutthi mein hain toh kal kisi aur ke mutthi mein hoga

He is then shown a Yellow light.. Ismail Darbar says Dont worry, you are a good singer.. I have confidence on public that it will not show you the red light.. A person if he gets lot of praise, then he should also be brought down, that is what the public is doing.. I salute the public and it knows how to bring you to the top..

Performance:

Before Poonam sings, ID says, this song that I have given Poonam is a song from Devdas and this he is dedicating to all the Mothers who have dedicated their life only for their children.. She sings Hamesha tumko chaaha from Devdas..

After her performance, ID says the feeling that Kavithaji had brought in this song, is very difficult to bring.. But sorry Kavithaji if I had met you before making this song, I would have given you the chance..

Rock Gharana:

First in this gharana is Joy - He gets green..
Next is Mussarat - Aditya says he was a trishanku last week but the performance he gave last week was so good and all the mentors asked for once more.. He too gets green..
Next to know is Aneek - Aditya says you sang Sonu's song and you sang it so well.. He also gets green..

So, its a clean sweep for Rock Gharana.. Himesh says I am so happy and Mussarat sang it so well.. So did Aneek and Joy.. Himesh also adds last week SRGMP got the highest TRP and its all because of the viewers.. So, thanks all of them..

Performance:

Mussarat sings Tanhaiyaan from Aap ka Suroor.. Himesh after this performance says this was a very different song that suited my tone and voice and is difficult for others to attempt.. But Mussarat said he will sing only my song.. So, I gave this.. You did it really well.. If I had not sung this song, I would have given it to you to sing..

Joy sings Jiye toh jiye kaise from Saajan

Aneek sings yeh dil toh mila hain sirf from Dil ne jise apna kahaa.. Himesh says this song was sung by Sonu and he sang it so well and you did justice..

Josh Gharana:

First to know the result is Mauli.. Aditya says, she sang the song Mast and everyone were happy with it.. She gets green.. Aditya also announces that she has got the maximum number of votes this week.. He also presents her with a watch which is the slimmest watch in the universe 😕 Actually her reaction before even he announced the result and one audience showing number 1 sign before Aditya announced was so evident that it was pre planned 😕 Bappida congratulates Mauli and says I had just landed from London and the fans are crazy about her and that the name Indian Shakira is so famous there also

Next to know is Abhijit.. Abhijit's and Sumedha's previous performances were also shown.. Abhijit gets yellow.. After their performance, Aditya asks the gurus what they think of the performance.. ID says everyone sang well, show the results..

Results:

A green light is shown in that traffic signal, 😆 and everyone are wondering for whom it will be.. Aditya asks all the 3, who should get green.. Harpreet and Abhijit say, it should be for Amanat and Amanat says it should be for Harpreet and Abhijit 😕 😆

Then Aditya announces that this green light was for Amanat.. 👏👏👏

He then asks, who would like to know the result - Harpreet wishes to know first.. Green light is shown for him 😊 👏 So,

Abhijit is out

Abhijit's mother's face is blackened when the results were announced.. He then says this stage is not a competition, but a gurukul and if he had not got the entry into this stage after winning SRGMP Marathi, he wouldnt have learnt all this here.. Abhijit's brother starts speaking and says - The way Aneek and Abhijit were being brought into the contest at the end and also Ismailji said that this is wrong, this has affected Abhijit's voting.. He actually wanted to concur with ID and say that he was right and Abhijit and Aneek should have come from beginning instead of at the end.. But he did not even complete the sentence that ID started asking him why are you taking my name - Is it because of me that Abhijit is out today?? Then Abhijit asks his brother to say what he wants to say in just 2 lines.. Then he clears what he wants to say and also Abhijit said as he didnot know hindi, this confusion came in.. ID says even he doesnot know hindi as he is from Gujarat.. Then all of them kept quiet without out even knowing why this issue started up 😕

VS to Abhijit - You dont need any sympathy, you will become a great singer..
Bappida to Abhijit - I am there for you, so dont worry..

Group Performance, Guest and Initial chit chat

Today's show begins with Mauli, Poonam and Sumedha singing Kambakth Ishq hain jo and the guys join them a little later on stage.. They also dance and sing together.. Then guys take the center stage and girls go on side and they all sing Love ke liye kuch bhi karega title song.. Then Raja and Junaid come on stage and perform few dance steps.. Then guys and girls join together and sing chalta jaaye ishq musafir.. As they all sing and dance, Aditya and Fardeen Khan enter from the stage below.. Some special effects are also shown..

Aditya says Fardeen Khan has a lot of attachment with the Saregamapa show as he was the one to give the winning crown to the winner in C2005.. Fardeen Khan nodes his head and gives a message for the contestants.. He says they are lucky to get such a huge platform.. They all are talented and the gurus are also supporting them.. As all being talented and also have such a huge platform, they will do very well..

Aditya says Fardeen's new movie Darling is going to be released and the music release will be on this show today.. And this is the first time its happening on television show.. Regarding the movie Fardeen says this movie cannot be categorized as it has thrill, emotion, makes one cry and also laugh and also has great music.. Aditya also announces the music is given by Himesh in this film.. Himesh continues that he has only done one song and the rest is done by Pritham.. This is Gulshan Kumar's movie and Ramu the director has done a great job.. Fardeen sahab is outstanding..

Today's Theme - All are celebrating Friendship's Day today and so all the contestants will sing song which their best friend has suggested..

Rock Gharana Performance:

Before the performance, Aditya says Prashant chadda, the best friend of Himesh has a message for him and a clipping is shown.. He says Himesh is more than just a friend and he has given whatever I have asked for.. I asked for a music video, then a film and now i am asking him to get me married.. Ask him what he says for this request.. Himesh is too happy seeing the clipping and thanks for making his day with this message and says before getting him married, his sister Roopa is there and she is also my sister.. so, i have to first get her married and only then can get him married.. This nok jhok goes on between us, lets see this year who wins it..

First to perform is Aneek Dhar:

A clipping of a message from his friend Arindam is shown.. He says you should get lot of name and fame.. He is a little kanjoos, but a great friend.. Wishes him Happy Friendship's day and requests him to sing the title song of Saathiya..

Fardeen - This song is technically very difficult to sing, and you did a great job.. I have become a fan of yours.. Himesh says you sang so well and see now Fardeen has become your fan.. So, there is nothing to say..

Joy's best friend is Anjan.. He comes on stage.. He says Joy is a good singer and that by now everyone knows.. He is also a good arranger and wanted to become music director and he can play more than 27 instruments.. He also adds that they both started their struggling together but Joy got a great platform.. Huggs him and wishes him Happy Friendship Day and also requests him to sing Roobaroo song from Rang de Basanti..

Fardeen - You started off well and enjoyed the song, but in later stages you did not do that.. you could have done better..

His friend's name is Faraz and they connect a phone for him.. He says Mussarat is doing great and have reached heights.. Himesh is also there wih him who is supporting him a lot.. Sumedha - Her friend's name is Gatha.. She first gives message in clipping saying Sumedha is a very good friend of hers and even if she gets lot of fame and name,she will be her best friend and says if she forgets her, then she will never excuse her for it.. She then comes on stage and gives a gift for her from all her five friends.. She says they used to call Sumedha as cat and so giving her a gift which is a fur cat doll.. She requests Sumedha to sing Aao Na from Kyun ho gaya na..

ID - Anthra was good but could have done better in Mukhda.. Gives 8

Mauli - Her friend's name is Lopa and she is standing in front of a high school.. She says she is missing Mauli so much and that during a lunch break, she was telling some joke to her group of friends but Mauli did not much laugh for the joke and she herself became a joke but she says, she miss Mauli a lot.. He requests Mauli to sing Shakalaka Baby from Nayak..

After her performance, Bappida comes on stage and audience shout once more.. Aditya requests Fardeen to come on stage and dance for the song.. He goes on stage and she sings again the same song..

ID's best friend is Sanjay Leela Bansali.. He says how he met ID and how they became friend.. He says he saw him first time during recording of Khamoshi.. He was the one to carry violin on his shoulders and kept on smiling at me.. he said first he thought he was some mad person and then next day Kunal gave a call and said if you are looking for a MD, i can send someone.. Next day, ID came standing on his door.. Sanjay was shocked and then the journey of their friendship started.. he says our friendship will never break and you are one of the valuable friend.. Whether we fight or have any misunderstanding, we will definitely be good friends..

ID says Sanjay, Main aida hoon, pagal hoon but you are a farishta for me and an angel sent by god.. Our friendship will stay forever.. We will fight even now, but friend we will be always..

Amanat is the first to sing and Vishal says - even before you sing, we will give you a 10. you were in trishanku yesterday and we dont want you to stay there next time..

Amanat's friend is Suman.. They talk over phone and He requests him to sing Kabhi toh nazar milao title song..

Himesh then says he has got some rumour that he is having an affair with one of the participants and that participant has rejected one proposal and that proposal was given by Aneek.. and says to Bappida - "kahiin woh aapke gharane ki toh nahin" ID says he will take bharat to Bappida's gharana.. Mauli is laughing at all this.. Amanat is confused.. Himesh asks him to take a promise that he does not have any affair.. Amanat starts doing that, but Himesh says to Aditya - go on with next performance and we will find who the girl is 😕 😆

Next to perform is Poonam - her friend's name is Meetu.. She says Poonam is very sweet and caring friend.. She is very lucky to have her as a friend and all should get a friend like her.. She has also brought a gift for her and says this has all love from Lucknow... She requests Poonam to sing Mujhe rang de from Takshak

ID - asks Aditya, She is from my gharana - wouldnt you ask for once more?? He then says once more and drags Fardeen to stage for dancing..

Fardeen - You were the best singer tonight..
HR - Marks is 10.. Asks her to smile and says you should keep smiling always..
VS - Excellent performance.. gives 10.. Poonam says she is so happy as they have given her 10.. Shekhar says she deserves it..

ID says she must concentrate only on singing and not on anything else

Hit Squad:

Shekhar's best friend is Sujoy Ghosh and they did many movies like Jhankaar Beats together.. Sujoy says Shekhar is a very good friend of his and that there was a movie called Brand Beauty where he had done acting also.. they met first in the movie called Kabristan and all Kabra were there near them when they first met.. He had to fall down and faint seeing a girl.. And that is one of the most memorable moment that he had with him.. Also adds that he is very sensible and easy going.. Shekhar laughs hard and says I will deal with him later.. Asks Aditya how they caught him.. Aditya says its all research team work..

Vishal's best friend name is Shiraz.. He says during a show of Pentagram the last performance was going on and a spot light was following Vishal but suddenly Vishal disappeared.. Then they found that he fell down from a six feet height stage.. He then came back with a back pain but completed the song.. He says Vishal may seem aggressive but he is very sweet and says whatever is there in his heart.. Vishal says what ever he is today, he owes all that to Shiraz.. He met Shekhar, his wife because of Shiraz and he is part of Pentagram too.. he also adds, he may compose music or not, he will defintiely be part of Pentagram

Performances:

Harpreet is not well and Raja comes and leaves him on stage giving him a support.. Aditya says Harpreet's close friend is Sunil Kumar the contestant of SRGMP C2007.. Sunil comes on stage and shares an incident.. While they were coming for auditions, they were travelling via train and there were few people who had harmonium and dholak and were singing and asking for money.. They asked 30 from Harpreet and Sunil, but they gave only 15.. They demanded more and Harpreet said you did not sing so much for you to get even 15.. They then said they will give 40 if he sings for them.. Harpreet took harmonium and Sunil got the dholak and they both started singing but they never got the money.. He requests public to vote for him and says consider him as a child and give him votes as he is not well.. Requests him to sing Channa ve ghar aaja ve..

VS after his performance, says once more.. Vishal takes the shall from ID and goes on stage.. They all start dancing and Vishal says that ID has gifted that shall to harpreet for this performance..

Fardeen - You have sore eyes and you are not well.. But you believed in yourself and did a great job.. Keep up the good work..

Tulsi Kumar sister of Gulshan Kumar is introduced by Himesh and says - she is a great singer and sister of Gulshan Kumar and also mine.. they sing tadap tadap song from Darling.. Himesh then calls Divya, wife of Bhushan on stage.. She says Pritham, Himesh and her husband has given a great music.. So, dont forget to listen to it.. Himesh says Pritam's all songs are super hit.. They release the CD and Divya distributes to all of them.. Fardeen says - "T series has planned to give CD for all the audience today.." Then ID, Himesh and Fardeen throw some CD's towards for the audience..

Agnipariksha Round 5 - Elimination - Episode Dated - 10th August 2007

Hey Friends

Today is elimination episode - Lets now quickly get on with the update 😛

The show begin with all contestants singing yamma yamma.. All the conestants are dancing and singing along with Aditya.... Aneek and Mussrat are shown singing few specific lines and oher guys join them, then the girls also join the guys. Its a very good performance.. 👏 They are all having guitar and ganjira..

Aditya greets everyone and says one will be eliminated today and that this week they have received 17 lakh+ vote.. and he says they are very pleased with the votes..

The first gharana to know the result is - Yalgaar gharana:

Poonam and Amanat are called on stage..

ID - few gus called from Pakistan saying that Amanat is from Pakisan and not from Dubai.. ID said to them that - he brought him frm duai and that is why calling him as Dubai ke Mahabali.. So, he will be called Pakistan ke mahabali - Amanat.. ID also says, nor he is from Dubai, nor from Pakistan - he is from India..

Aditya asks him he was intrihnku at he feels today. he says, what ever the janata will give, he will accept it.. His last week performance is shown.. Then green light flashes for him in the signal lights..

Poonam - Adiya says - she made her guru dance with her last performance and lets see what the public has for her.. She gets green.. Aditya also informs that she is the highest vote gainer for this week 👏 She also gets a watch

ID says janta ka shukriyaar karta hon- chota parivaar hain use bigad ke mat rakhdena..

Today's Theme - Univesal hits.. Aditya also says CDs of this show will be avilable in the market..

Poonam - Lailamain aila from qurbani.In between the song, joy gives the chorus sound.. While asking votes she says I have got lot of votes and I am thankful to you..

Amanat - Aditya introduces him as - dubai nahin pakistan ke amanat ali.. sings - huqa pani - rangeen 👏

ID after the performance says - amanat tumhaari andar masti hain - bahaar kyun nahin nikalte.. Aditya asks him if he is in love.. Himesh asks him - "What is the chakkar going on?" They show Aneek laughing at this situation and ID says If the girl is from India, then he will have to stay in India forever..

To Poonam he questions about her eyes looking different.. She says her friend had got her a lens which she is wearning

Josh gharana:

Mauli - Aditya says she made Fardeen dance for her song and says lets see what the public has given for her.. She gets green light..

Sumedha - your friend had come here and you sang her favorite. Bt she ges yellow.. Bappida say she is ver ood singer and tha I am saying fro myown exprience.

Performance:

Mauli sings Seekh le from Munnai Bhai MBBS..

Bappida after her performance says - Outstanding performance.. Bollywood needs such a singer..

Hit Squad:

Junaid - Aditya says - He was the highest vote gainer among the international votes and also gave a very good performance.. He gets green light..

Harpreet - He gave a good performance inspite of being of not being well.. He gets green light.. VS are very happy and jump into the celebration..

Raja - Aditya says we have got only one trishanku - will you be another one?? He says what ever public gives, he will accept it.. but he gets green..

All three are very happy and hug each other and Shekhar shouts - "congratulations!!"" Vishal says - The public is voting very sensibly.. Kept Amanat away from Trishanku and made Poonam as the highest vote gainer..

Performance:

Harpreet sings kangna from the album Dr. Zeus.. Very good performance 👏
junaid - Tere biun from Fuzon tere bina jiya nahin jaaye..
Raja - Let the music pplay from shamyr.. Mauli gives the chorus.. 👏

Aditya says Junaid is again no 1 in international voting..

Vishal's comments for all the participants:

harpreet - when he came in he was called devdas of hit squad.. but now that is changed and he has become cool.. sang very well..

Junaid - You are an extremely good singer.. But you need to concentrate on low notes.. Bappida have told you many times to concentrate on this place and you need to work on it.. Vishal asks Bappida to sing few lines.. He sings and says in low notes, you have to improve..

Raja - Today everyone are singing light songs but the performance that you all are giving are just amazing..

Shekhar says - they all are outstanding singers.. They are doing a great job..

Rock Gharana:

Joy - Aditya says - first Lets see you last week performance.. He gets yellow.. you might even get eliminated..

Vishal - Personally i will feel very bad if anyone of you get eliminated.. The format is such that one day or the other some one has to get eliminated.. But today who ever will go, they will it will be a loss to thsi this contest..

Aneek's and Mussarat's last week performance is shown.. And lights are shown for Aneek and he gets Yellow light..

Himesh says Sometimes it happens that for who ever is in the top, the public thinks that some or the other will vote and so it coincidentally happens that the contestant comes in trishanku.. If he comes the 2nd time, then its different but I am sure that wouldn happen..

Himesh says for Joy that he attempted SPB songs but he should stick on to rock genre songs..

And Mussarat is the favorite for all and now its proved also..

Shekhar - when Aneek first gave the performance in this stage, we thought he must be in the recording studio and not here..

Performance:

Mussarat sings tere bin sannu from delhi heights.. He looses the track and forgets the lyrics in the middle and says sorry.. But the track is going on and he does not sings and just sings the finishing lines.. VS encourage him by clapping..

Himesh says - this contest is about voice quality, sur, singing and not about forgetting lyrics.. So, requests the public to forgive him for that and vote him as he is a very good singer..

Vishal - This screeching in voice and forgetting lyrics in the middle has happened for everyone.. But you must not stop and sing the previous paragraph as the show must go on..

Himesh asks Mussarat to sing the same song without track and he does so..

Performance by Trishanku:

Aneek sings Bulla ki jaana main kaun from Rabbi shergill
himesh is shown saying wah wah.. shekhar also says -kyaa baat hain.. very good performance.

sumedha sings jaanejaan from sanam terikasam

Joy sings woh chali woh chali from bombay viking

Results:

A green light is shown and Aditya asks Aneek for whom it is shown.. hHe says he cannot say anything.. The public shouts Aneek.. Sumedha is also upset and is unable to say anything.. ID says this lihg ght is for Aneek.. Aditya says Aneek has to wait as this light is for Sumedha.. Bappida says she has to be happy for this.. She cries and asks votes..

Joy says if he gets green light, then it wouldn be fair for SRGMP.. Aneek gets green light..

So, Joy is Out!!

Aditya says - Joy has a wish for today and so before he leaves, his wish will be fulfilled here.. He will be given guitar and Aditya and Aneek will be there to support him..

He is given a guitar and he says there are lot of things he wants to say and that he wants to become a music director anyway..

After hearing this, Himesh says he has not sung for any MDs and he will sing for ARR but now he will sing for Joy the music director..

Joy plays his composition in guitar and sings meethi meethi yaadon ke yeh pal..Iits his own composition.. All the contestants are crying.. His journey is shown as an AV and he says all the votes from Assam will come for all these people.. He says he will definitely become a music director.. He breaks down while singing and Vishal says - he has shown the talents and he has all thier numbers and can ask for help whenever needed.. He also adds that there is some problem in Assam because of which he has not got the votes that was required which just now Bappida said to him..

Himesh adds saying - He is so unfortunate as his health was not in proper condition from day one.. But he never said it to anyone as with that he does not want to get votes.. Himesh wishes him luck.. It was so painful seeing him go 😭
