Kuch masti ho jaaye ? I have a plan, want to try it?
We have so many members here, who speak so many different Indian languages and I can bet all these languages have some fabulous songs too. I know you are going to tell me, what's the point in hearing it, cant follow a single word 🤔Its all Greek and Latin to me. Well lets see if we can make any sense out the the Greek and Latin.
We will play a game called "Masti ki pathshaala"and our motto will be full time masti.
The game is : One member will post two to four lines of any regional song here. The others who do not speak that language will try translating it. Just look at those 2-4 lines and write down whatever the words you feel, might mean. After about 3 or 4 members attempt it , the one who posted the lines will tell us what those sentences actually mean and we will then see how preposterous our translations were !!!!!!!!
That person can also post the link to the song whose lyrics he or she had posted or a utube link so that we get to hear & see it as well. Along with masti here, we also learn a few new words in another language and also get to hear a cool song.😎
Example : I post these two lines of a bengali song :
Akaash keno daake
mon chhuti chaye
now assume one who does not know this language and tries translating it , he or she posts the following as the direct translation of the above two sentences:
sky will u post
monday chhoti tea
but the actual meaning is
Why is the sky calling
My mind wants vacation /rest
😆😆😆
See what fun it was... ?? kisike translation ne toh actual sentence ka falooda bana diya, but see the bright side, ab humme pata chal gaya ki actual meaning kya hain. Isn't this fun.😛
*Just a reminder* : this is a fun and cool way to learn a language and enjoy it .Nobody should take offense at the misinterpretation of the words. It is not making fun of any language but through this game will aim to increase the vocabulary of members by making them imbibe or pick up new words.If that comes with a little masti what is the problem- Isi liye toh hum isse masti ki pathshala kehte hain.
