Before starting the story - I must confess that I have not been following this thread much, so some of the facts here will be totally wild 😳

Welcome to La-la-land 😛, where Project 'Valentine Unlimited' is on under the able guidance of the Project Manage CKY . The members of the team include a bunch of nice but crazy and , who are all planning for a big family picnic on Valentine's Day .

It all happened one fine morning, when Manju'di assembled all the kids of IF and floated this great Idea. CKY was made the incharge and he was in action from Hour 1 , trying to make all the arrangements..

Lets see, what arrangements were being made for the party...

Tanya was very prompt and contacted all to come up with a great agenda for the picnic. She has earned a well deserved at the very outset of the project.

Adi and Sur were assigned the responsibility of making travel arrangements , and they came up with some healthy options , some tough ones , some risky ones , and some really ingenious ones

Dia was assigned the responsibility of the food dept, but more than that, she was interested in gossiping around , breaking the utensils and the furnishure of the kitchen of the restaurant , Naturally it was on her to clean up the mess as well

Status check 1 after these tasks - Project Status 'Critical'; CKY was taking copies of the report to send to all stakeholders, but may be the terrible status best remain under the covers!

Anita, ofcourse is on target for deliverying costumes from Anita's boutique , and Sur and Jadoo are well prepared for the musical evening planned...

Suny, for some very strange reason thinks that he is the official guard for the team and is busy pulling up his biceps as much as he can .. Meanwhile Snowy comes there, and as expected - Chhotu and Chhoti start exchanging sweet nothings .. After a while Chhoti loses her cool and says - enough is enough All this hardly affects Chhotu, and he goes home and bindaas... Snowy however is upset, but Minali comes to rescue and consoles her .. She also takes her to watch a movie

Status Check 2 - CKY is still mad and is losing all hair in tension for this project , but Chameli had told him that , so he does not care...

In comes, Ron - the don to the rescue of CKY.. He afterall has all the skills and weapons to fix any problems. CKY thinks Ron has the ultimate ideas , and is now happy and relieved

Status Check Final - Project within schedule and budget with all features delivered

Patriotism in itself is a positive quality Sahana. It can be utilized as very constructive for your country. The problem arises, when it rises to the proportions of fanatism and the never-ending race to establish supremacy over another land-mass

2)Aren't Indians over-philosophical? (this is a complaint I hear from non-Indians!)

I will not say yes to this generic statement. But, I think Indians do go over-board with things that they are very passionate about and that does create a false impression on others

3)Isn't our world of virtual friendships taking us away from real friends? Aren't we making an artifical cocoon? Also, doesn't this make us more sedentary - we are anyway doing desk-bound jobs - why add to this by having virtual friends?

I think the VL is certainly trying to encroach upon the RL space and for many of us, its an increasing challenge to balance both. But, I think the VFs hold a lot of significance where-in you can actually talk to them without any inhibitions. In RL, many are introvert enough not to speak up all their mind with their friends and acquaintances.. I think such people find it lot easier to communicate and form the bonds in VL.. Its a hollow thats getting filled up for such guys and I will not take it away from them (and here they includes me)
