And heres an idea put forth by one of the members here. i am putting it here to get the views of the mentors regarding this.

hello barnalidi i just had a brilliant idea for the if srgmp contest

see the wildcard round was a good idea but i have an even better one.see the people who get eliminated might get this felling that they could have performed extremely well in one of the later rounds so i had this idea of a wildcard challenge.what a wildcard challenge is supposed to be is that the eleminated challenger after discussing with his mentor makes a request to participate in the forthcoming round.so in that round 3 contestants are liable to be eliminated due to the addition of an extra contestant.likewise if there are 2 contestants added 4 must be eliminated.now comes the good part.if the contestant is not among the last 3 or 4 as the case may be he/she will be able to participate till he/she is eliminated but will not participate in the wildcard round as he has already has his chance.but even if he is eliminated he wont get a chance to participate in the wildcard round as well coz he/she has had his chance.

i think this is a good plan becoz this allows singers to make a comeback in their selected category of song.it also wont give them a chance to say they fell prey to their weakness.

also it would reduce the number of contestants in the wildcard round😃.

so what do u think

I think this is a good idea. Someone with a brilliant mind has thought of this. Who could it be? 😃

Interesting idea. Will actually pose a challenge to those who are not really good in a particular genre. I'm up for it.

When the whole world is gearing up for the Day for lovers, when all music channels are playing "for you/ for him/ for her" variety of songs, we will be practising and singing loris 😉 Yaar barnali, sab ke sab Valentines day pe so jayenge 😆

Koi baath nahi, yeh bhi dekh lenge... romantic Lori gaayenge 😆

Others above me have fully understood and appreciated the concept fo wild card (me not understood at all) so I will go with the majority and say AYE AYE Madam

Di – this is what I could understand of the brilliant Gajji-ish 'Wild card challenge' format 😆… Correct me if I am wrong 😛…

As of now, a contestant, who is going out in one round, gets a chance to be back in the contest in the 'Wild card' round – for which the decided theme is 'Golden Era songs from 60s and 70s'.

The new format proposed gives a twist to it😉. It says that 'Golden Era' songs may not be the strongest area for all the singers to come back. So, why not the ousted contestant choose which round he/she wants to use his/her wild card for😛? Now say 2 ousted singers think that 'Fast beat numbers' are their strong points, so they use their wild card in that round. Now, since that brings in 2 additional singers in that round – so instead of 2 singers going out in that round, now 4 singers will go out!😉 Now, if any of these 2 additional singers are in that 4 – their wild card challenge ends there and they cannot take part in the 'Golden era' round also😭. But, if they survive😃 – they become a part of the contest for the next rounds to follow until they are eliminated again!😛 Of course, you can use your wild card only once, and if you want, you can save it for the pre-determined 'Golden Era' round also😳…

I think it's a very interesting concept😃, and surely adds spice to the contest😉… It's a little more task for we 'the book keepers'😭, but I guess in the end, its going to be better for the contest overall👍🏼…

Now that all the mentors have agreed to it, we should go ahead with it 😃… So if anyone from Abhi, Ronojeet, Simple, Luvneet, Mudit (he will be out anyway in this round as he has not submitted the song) and the other one bowing out in the '2000 and beyond' round want to use their wild-card in the 'Lori and Kids songs' rounds, they are welcome😃.. If you think, this is not the round for you – hold on for better times guys! 😛

Just wanted to clarify if the kids' songs could be songs for kids as well as by kids...
