Summary:
One of the most respected member of SRGMP forum Smt Manju Jain (also popularly known and hereforward referred to as Manjuji) has determined that it was time to take some members of this forum on a tryst with Mrs. Valentine (Read: Valentine Date). After a lot of Trials, Tribulations, Tabulations, Postulations and presuppositions the team was narrowed down to the hallowed 16 called VALENTINE 16. This team will embark on a journey of the lifetime on Valentines Day under the Leadership of the sponsor of this event, Manjuji. The scope of the project is to plan the complete event from laying the foundation till execution (cradle to grave) as defined in the Action Item section.
Scope:
1. Plan the activities (including but not limited to food/wardrobe etc.) of the entire day for the group of 16.
2. Assign Tasks and Responsibilities to the Team Members
3. Get the 16 to meet on Valentine Day and execute all planned events
Goals/KPI (Key Performance Indicators):
The Goals are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic and Timebound)
- Plan all events of the Valentine Day for 16 members of the team no later than End of the Day 02/10/2007 Sign contracts with all suppliers (food/dress etc.), no later than end of the day 02/05/2007
- Ensure no less than 95% satisfaction of all team members combined through a post event survey.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Satisfaction Survey Signed Contracts High Level Plan of the day Detailed Plan of each event for the day
- Repertoire of all individual props (Dresses, Food)
Critical Success Factors:
- Participation of each Team Member….Bail outs (Office mein kaam jyada tha) not allowed…may put the entire project at risk Reliability of the Contractors. The project is vulnerable to incompetent vendors not supplying goods by the target dates.
- Sponsorship of the event. This is least of my worries given the commitment of the sponsor.
