As for original Hindi solo songs after C2005, none of them.

Himani sang a small part in Chalo Dildar Chalo...i think that's what it's called...with Hema and Vinit. She also sung 'Tu Hi Mera' with Himesh Reshimmya...in Dil Diya Hai. (i think that's the movie...) 😕 Vinit sang Dil Rang Le with someone else in Rocky - The Rebel. Hema sang in Alaag...Nihira sang with Shaan. Ujjaini sang in Alaag too I think. 😕 Sharib...well I don't know. 😭 That's all I can remember so far...though they all aren't solos.

Salil ji, nice seeing you back. I believe, Hema has sung telgu songs too and Nihira ia anchoring Zee Saregama Marathi and is doing an awesome job. For individual solo by them, let us see. I am sur ethey will have great oppurtunities otherwise a big loss in music industry by not using singers like them 😛

The movie that Ismail-ji wanted to use Sharib's voice (with Lata-ji) is -- Pyar Kiya To Nibhana. I am not sure if this movie (to be directed by Vinay) is still in the works. I do not see it listed in any of the internet databases (such as indiafm) of upcoming movies. It is neither listed as ID's upcoming movie in these databases. Also, I am quite sure that Ismail-ji has not yet recorded this Sharib-Lataji duet (and if it will ever be recorded)-- may be because the movie may not be coming. I may be wrong here and I would welcome (and will be very glad) if someone proves me wrong with concrete evidence.

Yes -- there have been stage shows, group songs, rearranged songs, few duets here and there, regional movie songs, music show compering -- but no individual solo in Hindi yet.(after C2005). I am anxiously waiting to see these singer finally get their first "real break".

Wow, its been long since I came back on the forum...

Hemu is singing for a LOT of Telugu movies. I don't know if you enjoy Telugu music, but if you please PM me, I can provide you a whole list. And all these songs are for major banners in the Southern Industry. Also, all of them are after C2005. I am giving the link of his lastest movie, please hear his Solo, Virali Padina, its really good..

I mentioned this in one post when so many of Himesh fans went crazy with joy because Himesh gave a chance to Hemu, Himani and Vinit and I said the same thing as I said then that no one has to give them a 'chance' now. They were given the biggest 'chance' with SRGMP C2005, now it is upto them to prove themselves. It doesn't matter where they do it or how they do it, as far as they are successful in some area its good for them. As for Hemu not been given an oppurtunity to sing in Hindi Movies, well Shri SPB, Dr.Yesudas and Dr. BMK never really sang for Hindi movies, however they are rated as the best singers of India..so Bollywood success isn't the beginning nor it is hte end. Today Hemu is slowly rising in the Telugu Industry as a star. With almost 15 songs to his credit within a year of his vote out, I think it is a big achievement that every month the Telugu speaking crowd gets to hear him!

I am not sure about other contestants as I haven't really kept a tab on what they have been upto. So can't say what they are upto. But as far as what I know, I think they are all doing a good job and I would like to wish them all the very best.
