I somehow felt that Sharib was better than Irfan. Keka definitely was more out of sur and did not perform up to her potential. Its a pity though since overall, Keka is a better singer than Raktima. I still remember her awesome performance in the earlier round where she sang the title song from Basera.

so what if Himani didnt get the green card ... she got the blue card ... she is lucky to get the blue card cuz there is no doubt that sanchali had sang better than her ... both Sanchali and Himani sand very well in their individual songs but when it came to singing together Himani was a little bit out of tune and Sanchali had out sung her in the song. But since Adesh is the most cockiest and hot tempered mentor it is difficult to go against him.

Now that the selections of the winners will be done by viewers it looks like it is going to be a tough fight. everyone (at least on this forum) has his/her own favorites and they will be backing them. I would like to mention my favorite singer too ..

According to me Sharib is the guy to win the event. All those things the mentors are talking about - rooh, sur, gayaki, emotion are presnt in ample amount in Sharib. Also, i feel al least 2 of the songs he has sung have been sung better than the original singer - "Laagi Tumse man Ki lagan" and "Aashik Banaya aapne". He has shown that he can sing high pitch the best among all the male singers in the competition (Tadap Tadap). The only performance of his which i felt was not up to the mark was his rendition of "Chaiyya Chaiyya". Apart from that he has been very good. Also none of the others have chosen songs of high calibre which demonstrate his range in singing.

His competition would come from Debojit who is also very good. Rajiv and Vineet are not that good, I feel . Especially Rajiv, who falters on sur many times and is overhyped . Hemachandra is very pukka on sur, but most of the songs he choses dont have that much of a range.

I have another request to ask from anyone who is reading this and plans to vote for their favorite singers. Please base your vote only on the merit of their singing and not on any other attributes. I have heard comments like this singer is "ghamandi" or that singer's comments about her/his parents/wife were were touching etc, etc. The fact remains that we just get to see on TV whatever ZeeTV shows us and we are in no position to make a judgement about the character of an individual singer based on that. Please remember that basically Gajendra Singh can make any singer look humble or "ghamandi" just by the way of his editing the program !

In any case , it should not matter to us what kind of a person the singer is in real life. What we can make a judgemnet on is the person's singing and lets base our favorites on just that .

This is a plea to the India viewers as you all have the power to cast ur vote: Please do not vote for Rajeev. I seriously do not see anything great in his singing. And I also sincerely hope that Ujjaiani somehow manages to get called back through the Brahmastra round. She is an EXCELLENT singer and should be called so that the others get a tough fight.

Among the boys I think and hope that ultimately it will be a fight between Hemachandra and Debojit. Debojit is really a very talented but underrated contestant. I am sure that had he been in Aadesh or Himesh's group they would have maha hyped him...if they can hype about Rajeev and Aishwarya so much....

Yeh I agree ... Debojit is an under rated contestant and I think he has a bery good chance of reaching the finals. I think Hemachandra is currently the best male singer. As for the females it Nihira Joshi all the way!

I completely agree with this opinion. I am shocked to see how mentors and judges from the musical world can back a singer who is totally besura and cannot even remember the words!!
