I think you are talking about Sanchali -- the little girl that Himesh did not select and selected Bon Jyotsna over her. Sinchan is different. I think Sinchan was many times better than many selected in the preliminary round -- Majeera, Bon Jyotsna, Anandita, Raktima, Hima Bindu....

Yes Yes Yes. I mistyped her name. I knew who I was talking about. She is SanchaRi, the little girl who came on SRGMP several times and not SanchaLi, from JL gharana

I still don't get it.. why Himesh picked Bon Jyotsana over "the little" Sanchari. Sanchari is very good for her age and a lot better than a few girls in the top 32. The only problem with her was that her voice was cracking up (due to adolescent growth). She sang "Silsila yeh chahat ka" a few yrs ago and she was awesome (though i ain't big on that song).
