Adi dear "sabut" means whole.
Saboot means proof.

Now if you're asking about a third thing, even I am lost. 😆

By the way...how'd you like my alternative? 😉

😆 Oh I'm dying here! 😆

Dia, check out the answer I've provided. 😆

And if anyone would care for a mini-linguistics lesson.

For "sabut" the stress is on the "a" ... elongate it into an "aa." The "u" is short.
For "saboot" the stress is on the "oo" and pronounced the same as in bh"oo"t. The "a" is short and pronounced like "uh."

😃

Another recipe...

Open a can of fruits... put it in a bowl... add 4tspn of kali mirchi(pepper) 2tspn of salt and 1/2tspn of sugar... mix everything together...then eat it!

this would be a fruit chaat!

don't ask y all my dishes r chaat...😆 😆 😆

😆Hmmm...ever seen dried red chili? The whole mirch...all dried up. That would be called "sabut laal mirch." That's used for tadkas mostly..but I have a feeling you're as clueless about "tadka" as you are "sabut."

Another example... elaichi (cardamom).

On the left is the whole elaichi. On the right are the seeds.
When using the whole, please make sure you crack it open a bit. If you don't, you'll be facing a mini explosion. The pod will burst, the seeds will fly and hot oil will tend shower upon you. Really...not a pleasant experience. 😕

Sabut is more often used to describe daal.

That's lal mirch.
It also comes in a "flake" form, which is roughly crushed lal mirch, including skin and seeds, and a powder form, which is a potent red powder made of finely crushed red chilies.
