Gulzar-Rehman: Soulmates?

They're two maestros who are admired all over the country, or rather all over the world. So when lyricist Gulzar and music composer A R Rahman come together, they literally create magic. Ask Rahman what is the secret of their creativity together and he informs that they haven't done too many films together, but Gulzar and he share a superb rapport - both of them understand each other and have a common love for sufi songs. He reveals that they love the process of creating a song and the idea of becoming a literal part of a song. In fact, he adds, Gulzar actually comes and sits with him through the entire process and they have fun working together. It is only when Gulzar is satisfied that he goes back - it's amazing how even at this age he takes work so seriously and delivers nothing but the best. Here are two soulmates who complement each other superbly!
