I only know that we should reward people with talent and encourage people with lesser talent to do better next time. Personally if I was voting based on emotions it would be Diwakar. I think people should reward hardwork and talent, Sanchita is the most consistent among the bunch and she has worked for this day since she was 3 years old. I would not mind waiting 3 more years to see if Sameer finally does put in a good effort and hard work to be the best, then I will be his number one fan. I do not believe in discouraging hard work and rewarding mediocrity, what will Sameer learn from this if he wins....that you can fake your way through life and no reason to work hard. While Sanchita will learn (if she looses) that girls can not succeed on an equal stage, and the best thing is to wait few more years till she marries a MAN to gain her identity.
Everyone keeps talking about Sameer personality and stage presence. Sanchita has better stage presence, but if she starts dancing and smiling people like Alka Yagnik are the first ones to criticize that. If stage presence was the only issue we all know that Twinkle would have won the Challenge, but everytime she danced every judge was ready to pounce on her for acting too much and not focussing on singing. So as I understand back home in India.....MEN DANCING, SMILING ....GOOD. GIRL DANCING, SMILING....BAD. Just does not make sense. I guarantee you Sanchita can dance the pants of Sameer, you are finally seeing some hints of that in the last episode, since she is no longer worried about Alka Yagnik criticism.
Well we will see who wins next week, I am sure it will be mediocrity...a microcasm of the society we live in.
