By the way - this brings me to a question that Ms. Bholi Bhali caused me to raise. Is a copy-pasted PM sufficient proof that a person has said something? And can a person be sanctioned on the basis of a PM?
If yes - then why didn't Ms Bholi Bhali take my word for it?
If no - then why have some members been banned on the basis of a PM?
Just curious questions for my curious mind.
Well Shady bhai.. I guess we have already discussed the issue at length.
Ms. Bholi Bhali didnt say that the PM that you have sent is not true. She said let Vijay come and then he will address it so that rumours do not start flying that those who are saying "goodbye" are being blocked (still cant stop laughing at the idea of blocking IPs if you say Good bye). 😆
Regarding the "mohini" issue she was not just banned for the PM she sent to Bhaskar. If we go a little back then she had already finished her 100% warning meter once and have been banned but later it was restored back on the condition that she wont be repeating it. This time too we gave her 2 chances and her warning was 40%.
You mentioned "some member" so any other member you know who have been banned due to sending PM.
There are a few who have been banned for "spamming" or "advertising other sites" on the Forum.
Well guys if we want to argue on something then we can continue endlessly.
Cheers,
Vijay

I dont know what this warning meter is .... how do we know where we stand on that meter 😕 😆
When you get it Kabhi you will know about it automatically as it will be visible then 😆

i guess it shows below your id on LHS
That equation is for all of us together (IF members) 😊

I did not accused you. I said, PMs can be edited, so before anything else, I have to make sure as the feature is still in making, and other dev team members i asked, they weren't aware of it too. and Vijay wasn't here.
ppl are banned on the basis of PMs, because, we hear both sides of the story. we just don't ban the members on the first go. they are given many chances and are kept under observation.
if u are really curious, we can try that on you.
I know of at least 2 members who have personally written to me that their side of the story was never considered when banning them.
Anyway - not digressing from the main point. I still haven't gotten a clear answer on if my article will be reinstated or not, and the reasons for it, if you please. I have been told that Vijay will clarify that here.

tht means I havent got even 1%😆
Beta abhi minus me chal raha hai tumhare khata. Jyada reporter banoge to pata chalega. 😆😆😆Joking

Since you ask, I'll oblige. Another member is Sridhar - jmn7 - who was banned on a basis of a PM he sent to a member. He has since written to me claiming that it was a fake constructed PM.
Issue is not if he did send the PM or not. Issue is - how can it be proven? That's also the case with Mohini. It can't be proven. That is why, in a recent request, I asked you to reconsider the option of allowing people to be banned on the basis of a PM - which is a Private message, in any case, and doesn't disrupt the forum.
