Thanks Shady for posting the PM.

As I said in my last PM to shady that we were trying out the feature where it blocks IPs who are using multiple IDs. Many times we found that few members makes posts and then log on with another ID on the forum to support oneself. So to stop it we are trying to do something programmatically to make the forum better.

But this didnt worked cause the system assumed that different users coming from the same IP are Multiple IDs and the duration had been reduced. I am restudying the same and should come out with better working Anti-Spam feature.

Sorry for the inconvenience to all who have been affected.

And even I had a chat with Charades on the issue where he said Iron and his IP have got blocked and when he logged from Work it was fine and Iron IP had been removed.

So the point is that if the Dev Team has to block someone why would they block the IP cause its never a permanent solution and anyone can get through different IP and post again.

I hope that clears the doubts.

I hope Ms. Bholi Bhali now understands that I have not commited any 'CRIME', or posted any false news, nor have I edited any PM, as alleged. After hearing those unnecessary harsh words, I think I deserve an apology.

Now can I have my article reinstated?

I guess this article itself is fine and is self-explainatory that we do not need to do post-mortem now 😆 and get back to the fun mode.

Any one else still affected with the Anti-Spam feature? Do drop me a PM or you can send it to Charades as we are trying to sort the matter.

Sorry that your IP got blocked due to an error. As I mentioned in my last post it has been resolved and the feature has been temporarily withdrawn. Even I told this to Charades (Vijay) on chat 2 days back the same thing that we were working on this.

Regarding reinstating the post of Shady.. sorry dude but I am copy pasting something from that post.

Another piece of advice. Try not to use the word 'Goodbye' in any of your posts. What was common among all the members whose IPs were blocked is that they had used the word 'Goodbye' in their posts just before they were blocked. It seems the Anti-Spam feature recognizes and blocks IPs of users who use that word. Quite perceptive, I must say.
