Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs contestant Diwakar has put his name already high on the popularity list. His inspired performance has won him many fans and also explains his comeback to the popular show, courtesy large scale voting on the part of the audiences. Screen vamp Ashwini Kalsekar who plays Jigyasa in Kasamh Se is another very big fan of Diwakar.

"He really sings well and is amassed with positive attitude towards life despite him being visually impaired," says Ashwini. It so happened that Diwakar mentioned about his favourite actress Kareena Kapoor to Ashwini and wished to talk to her.

"The other day when I met him, he told me his favorite actress is Kareena Kapoor. He has never seen her on screen but knows that she is very beautiful and is an amazing actress. So recently on his birthday I gave him an unusual gift. I made Diwakar speak to superstar Kareena Kapoor over the phone. He was very happy and his smile made my day," exclaims Ashwini proving that she is actually a very nice lady in real life, a sharp contrast to her on-screen image.

The judges might still feel that there are other better singers than Diwakar in the competition, but he has won quite a few hearts. And these are the people who keep making things better for him, time and again. (Sampurn)
