Why is Sameer so overhyped ???

Thandi hava ka zokan... Naughtiest kid, Great singer... blah blah blah.. Dunno why he is so overhyped.. He is really an average kid with one of most irritating and immature voice.. He is not remotely naughty.. He looks quite dumb. In group performance he never stands out.. infact looks litte scary while Sanchita always steals the show during group performance(even though she is so shy)

The way he keeps looking for better grades make me feel annoyed. Dunno who started all this naughty misconcept about him.. In Tapori episode.. supposedly his episode his performance was the weakest. His body language is the worst in all conetstants.. Lookwise he does not have any x-factor about him..

He does not say anything intelligent like Diwakar nor his smile is cute like Abhro. His singing is medicore at best!! Lot has been aid about that emotional episode when he made judges cry.. It more looked scripted and frankly he does not deserve accolades he receives. He is no champion material.

He comes across as a kid with low confidence with fumbling manners. I especially dont like the way he communicates. It looks so dull and commonplace and damn drab. Even scripted wish to ask for Bappida gold chains was not remotely funny.

By his mannerism he comes across as opportunist.. always trying hard to remain in good books of judges. Sanchita/Abro have dignity while Diwakar truly has honesty.. Sameer sadly has none..

He is most overrated/overhyped/ordinary and least attractive kid of the show..

Having said this.. I have nothing against him.. I still wish him all the best in his life!! But he does not deserve in top 6..

I totally agree that he is over-hyper. I know he is a good singer. I come from a family of classical singers and I have been into music all my life. Thats why I know that of all the singers in the show now, Sameer and Diwakar are the weakest, even then Sameer is being over-hyped. Its just that he is a good performer and has lot of confidence.

I think Sameer is really mediocre as a singer and yes is favored by judges mostly because of non-musical attributes... He is public favorite also because of other factors... just as a singer he will definitely come behind Abhro, Sanchita, Pawni, Shaddha, Neha and Diwakar in my books...

But that does not mean that we can tear apart his behavior, manners, looks and character like this... Calling an 11 year old as an 'opportunist' is being tooo harsh and aggressive!

Oh my!! Dont mean any assassination of any kind!! He is a kid and sincerely wish all the best to him.. I am simply trying to place him with other contestants.
He is not exciting contestant.. Really keeps getting undeserving high scores.. Ofcourse thats not hs fault. Its more to do with judges.. But when I see him leading the poll. It makes me sad.. The script writer very craftily hammered on our minds that he is naughty, thandi hava ka zokan something which he is not..

Sanchita is break dancer..
Abhro is Lil Ustaad becos of his great singing..

Votes going to decide the fate of these young contestants and I just wish that best wins and not the worst..

Everyone had a fair chance to please the judges....
Abhro got 3 A+ from all the judges most of the times but he is not versatile still working on that aspect
Diwakar for obvious reasons is favourite of all
Sanchita: They call her the most consistent singer
Shraddha: What not they called about her. Saraswati tumme basati hain U r a play back singer already again not versatile and consistent
Pawni: Praised a lot when she sang really well. Abhijeet calls her bhai because she acts like that...
Sameer: Whenever he is off sur he is pointed out many times given B and B+ also..... Its a charismatic personality, which everyone likes and cant be called overhyping.... If it had affected teh ranking they gave yes he cd be called overhyped but its not the case 😊

I think Sameer has got good grades from the judges for a lot of his mediocre performances, while the others who did better on that day did not get good grades... recent example 'I am the best' by Sanchita was a lot better performance that 'Hum bhi hai josh me' - even 'Baar baar haan' and 'Aaa dekhe zaraa' was a better attempt than that... But Sameer got the 3A+! This has happened many times before as well

Hum bhi hain josh me got 3 A+ because of the way he sang it than the surs.... Is gaane me surs the hi kaha yaar.... 😆 It was because of the aggression he showed in the song....

I agree Sanchita's performance was the best but dont know whats the problem with Alkaji's ears

Baar baar haan lacked all the aggression required in the song.... He sang it more classical way

I dont think Sameer is overhyped. Infact i feel that he deserves to be in top 3.

His singing is much better than of Diwakar atleast, and some of his performances were really were good.

Overhyped or not it doesnt matter. He is a public favourite and deffinately my favourite. As i have stated before to be a star as a singer, actor or anything else talent is NOT everything. It is how "sellable" you are and, dats what sameer has goin for him, he is entertaining and has charisma. Now ofcourse he is deffinately not sellable to everyone ( you and many others on this forums) But even then the TONS of people like him. It is the same situation as Himesh bashed by few but still loved by many. Please state you dont like him dats it. No reason to come here and tear the kid up. Geez sum people.
