Even the initial parts of the movie is very typical of a average south Indian home, and the customs particularly, it holds more significance than what was conveyed in the Hindi version.

The only saving grace in Hindi is the popular Rukmini song was less explicit in Hindi. The tamil version, in my opinion is more "dhamakedaar"😆.

I know....😳...wonder how it moved through the censor board...but that guy he dances pretty well.Did you know he is Prabhu Deva's brother?

Yup truly agree with you... Tamil Version was far better than the hindi, may be coz after watching the original version, no one prefers to watch a dubbed version of the same movie...

😆😆😆 Yeah. Maybe the Tamil Cencor board are more tolerant than others, because such songs figure almost in all movies.

Yeah. the guy dances well and looks 😃 like Prabhu Deva as well.

Too many restrictions actually make things worse. Not many people can live under heavy restrictions. Yesterday, I had gone to Christ College for a quiz. It's a feckin' Jail! Especially the moral policing, segregation of guys and girls, etc. But then, my teammate and I were joblessly strolling around in the Field when we saw a packet of used condoms lying prettily though ashamedly in a hollow of grass. I think you're getting my point.

Groupism is always there in any place, office, college. ALWAYS. Any society consists of people with different mental makeups, and then you tend to stick to your kind of people. Take my own class for example. I had stood for the election of the Jt. Secy of Microcosm, but I lost out by three votes, because girls in college are more in number, and the girl in question was the to-be-girlfriend of the Class Rep. You cannot eliminate groupism; you should learn to tolerate it and organise it peacefully.

What are these factions that we are talking about? Vinit-HR faction? Debu-Hema-xx faction? How did these factions form? Let's look at the psychology behind it.
There was this one faction which really liked Vinit. They got together. But then there was one faction which didn't like Vinit and they were quite vocal about it. This wasn't accepted gracefully by the Vinitophiles, so they began opposing every little thing of the other faction. A vice versa phenomenon happened from this side also. Trust me, it's not their fault. The undiscerning and immature human mind is like that. Many people are simply lazy enough not to think for themselves and discern, and they are perfect examples of Herd Mentality.
Then there were those people who have nothing better to do than God-ify their idols and bash the others. And use slang language for anything and everything. They have chucked rationale out of the window. It is driven by their extreme will and determination to make their idol win. For what? To satisfy themselves and their judgement that they've chosen to be loyal to the better one? What purpose will it serve? Innocent girls will still be raped, dowry deaths will still occur, children will tie wet sashes around their stomachs and sleep everyday praying that they'll be alive to see the morning sun.

And since most of the trouble is fuelled by such people, maybe out of immaturity, maybe out of insecurity, the mods, being magnanimous as they are 😡 , try to appease that faction. This results in restrictions. Extreme restrictions. And thus, suffocation and more trouble. I got a warning for calling Zubeen a Moron in jest. That wouldn't have happened, say, 6 months ago. The man in question isn't here, neither does he read the Forums...so why would it be taken as an offensive comment maligning the dignity of a person and thus liable to warrant a warning? Bosh I say, don't curb freedom of speech. Moderators are Moderators...not Dictators. Dictatorship leads to Anarchy, and one day will usher in Despotism, if you please, and that, is not going to be good.

Transperancy in dealing with matters is quintessential. All of us old members have been shouting for this since long, but nothing has been done. For starters, why can't everyone see why a person has gotten a warning? And when an issue is being discussed, why do the mods request others to PM and ask for details? Why aren't the general public...ahem...know what's happening? You first go call someone a xx and then he slaps you, and then you come out into the public and start to sort things out...the immediate circle is going to do a head-butt-inversion trying to analyse what's happening. Half Knowledge is a dangerous thing.

I saw your post to the so called Charges, Bhaskar, and honestly, I am much disappointed, if I am allowed to be. You haven't addressed one single charge to the point and have nearly always argued on a tangent and that too with a frustrated and dismissive tone. Will not go into details; but this is certainly not expected from you; the one mod we all held in esteem. Sadly, more than half the forum now feels you've betrayed their trust and faith in you. And I have to agree with them, again, if I am allowed to.

This is a sincere request. Do not try to standardise anything and everything here. Do not make way too many rules and restrictions. And for heaven's sake, behave like grownups. If a Faction-1 member says Bush sucks, and though a Faction-2 member agrees, he she won't, and will stupidly oppose it because they favour two other participants. That's stupid with a capital U for Uber-Demented. Do not carry this mentality everywhere.

I appeal to the younger members - Do not be dismissive of everything and view everything as black and white, standarising things with the notions of Cool and Uncool. The real world does not work that way, and trust me, if you don't learn to discern and decide now, you'll be royally screwed later.

And adults, let's not be a party to such juvenile acts, and act with maturity that bespeaks of our age. I am inclined to totally agree with Rahul regarding the restrictions on the forum. They're way too many and its not good for the growth of the forum.

Oh yeah, and people, learn to take Humour and Sarcasm for what they're bloody worth. Don't go sulking like a pig in a 30 minute painful xxx that's gone wrong. Pah...

Ah, I missed everything. Good. But, even if I am late, just wanted to say 👏👏👏 to Abhilashji for this post.

What happened to the charm and fun that we had in our forum? What happened to all of us here? Why are we taking things so personally and becoming so sensitive... I dont think we would be even doing all this in our real life that we are doing here in the Virtual life... We are here to have fun, forget the worries of real life and have masti with all the friends out here in the Cyber Space... Why not just have fun, forget all that has happened till now and start a new one again... I read most of the comments of having Groupism in the forum... Now, as mentioned before, HR fans made a group, Vinit fans made a group, Himani fans, Hemu fans, Nihira fans etc etc made a group of their own... We all discussed among ourselves.. Now there came the groupism... If we take out from our mind regarding the groupism, we all can be happy for ever... Each one is a part of a group... In the list of lacs of members or call it thousands of members in SRGMP forum, there are many groups here and one cannot be close to all of them, one can be close to only a certain group of people... Now, forget that groupism which is more of personal issue, and get back again and join hands with each other and enjoy it together... Why takes things personally? Why attack other members? Why do we have to get ourselves hurt and make others also hurt? Life is beautiful... Life is given once by god... If we do not like something, just ignore it and leave... For that, "kyun apne aapko dukh dena aur kyun doosron ko dukh dena?" Why attack each other aur din kharab karna? Lets all enjoy life... There is lot of fun things too that we can do more than all this, why not go ahead and think of it... Why make others feel bad? Agar hum doosron ko khushi nahin de sakte, toh dukh kyun dena? We need the love in this forum... In this life, every1 cannot be the same... Paanchon ungliyaan ek jaise nahin ho sakti... We will ve different point of view... If you do not like a comment, just ignore it... why, stress on it? Why do we have to impose our view on others? Its human nature to make others accept what one feel... but why be like that? Cant every1 express their own point of view... If you dnt feel like accepting it, ignore it, then see, how peaceful it is here.... The Bottom line is: Accept things, dont take it personally, lets bring back peace in the forum again... Its so hurting to see own brothers and sisters and friends arguing like this...

Brilliantly Said,Anu 👏
Second It,Point To Point 👏

IMO,Its just an Online Forum and we need not be politically correct everytime.
