Nice movie Roja..I actually saw the tamil version. Its far better than the hindi one..talking of Roja..

I thought the Hindi version was just dubbed in hindi. BTW, do you understand Tamil.

Yes ..u did.. wait let me refer to GG bhai's quotes...😉😆....

In the Tamil version..the worry ,the tension Roja goes through because of lack of not understanding hindi was more genuine..in the hindi one..the language barrier did not come out that well..especially since I had watched the Tamil one first..

Appada.. I understand Tamil and Kannada quite well actually...😳

I have seen the Tamil and the Hindi version and Adi, you are right, the Hindi version, with the dubbed Hindi Dialougues do not do justice, particularly to convey the anxiety of the young bride who did not know the language there and used expressions to convey her anxiety.

Even the initial parts of the movie is very typical of a average south Indian home, and the customs particularly, it holds more significance than what was conveyed in the Hindi version.

The only saving grace in Hindi is the popular Rukmini song was less explicit in Hindi. The tamil version, in my opinion is more "dhamakedaar"😆.
