Anu Malik enrolls himself in a music school to keep up with the latest trends in his field

For a music director who has been written off by critics, Anu Malik is all set to prove his detractors wrong. Malik has joined a music school in Andheri, to keep in touch with the new developments in his field.

When contacted, Anu seemed reluctant to talk about it. "I am a student and I keep learning things every day," he said. "Now, I have become a student again. I have had my share of glory. The awards and praises are a thing of the past. At present, I'm focussing on the future."

He added, "I compose my own music and make my own 'mukhdas'. I've realised what people want today. And you will see the new Anu Malik soon. India is booming in terms of creativity. Today, sound production is rocking. I'm now a student in terms of everything that's associated with music. I'm learning several new aspects and have incorporated them in my forthcoming films—Umrao Jaan, Jaaneman, Zindaggi Rocks, Woodstock Villa and Love Story 2050. After more than 25 years in music, I am enjoying the process of learning again. I know the change won't be immediate, but you will see it in my forthcoming work."

Speaking about the tough time he has faced of late, he said, "The last couple of years have been very tough, personally and professionally. I lost my father. And I have been working round the clock. Now, I am eagerly awaiting the release of Zindaggi Rocks, Jaaneman and Umrao Jaan. The producers of these films have pinned their hopes on me and I don't want to let them down."

I am sure he got inspired by Armaan.!!!!After more than 25 years in music, I am enjoying the process of learning again.

Well said...... Learning is a never ending process. I feel the day you get this in your mind that I know everything and don't need to learn anything more...... there starts the downfall.
