I agree. Let this contest get over as per the original plan.

Can we do something special with Sunitha for the IF podcasts? She is most definitely a singer par excellence... this contest is not the end of the road.

Well said, BQ. I completely agree. Nothing can change the fact that sunitha ji is an amazing singer.

Just want to clarify few things Sahana. The facts you are potraying are not correct either. Shouldn't I be the person giving the facts about myself?

At the time when both Ummm and Sunitha had to leave the contest, I did not ask for any replacement contestants. In one of the posts I had asked the moderators, and the other mentors to come up with a fair decision about what should be done at that point. And we all know how co-operative you all were. Lets not dig up the dead. I did not comment then.

Later Shady bhai raised this issue which most of the forum members supported, but there again "principles and the so called discipline" came on the way. At that point I had mentioned that if I have to loose two of my best contestants this way and I am not given any replacement then what is the point for me to continue. I had Solidsnake and Coolest_one in my gharana at that time. I had said that why don't the other two mentors take each of these contestants and I will be done with the contest.

The only other thing I had said to Angie about replacement was that "I will not take anyone in my gharana without listening to them first" It was a replacement for Ummm and Sunitha, and it has to match the standard to some extent.

Sorry to say Sahana I think you are bit wrong here. Appa never asked for replacement. It was asked by the members. And Appa said that either let me get another contestant someone whom I get to choose or take my contestant in your groups. Infact at that time he had even sent me a PM saying the same. But he always maintained that the final decision is with the Dev Team and the judges.....

So it's bit wrong to say that 😊

Excuse me, if you are saying that I was not cooperative when your contestants left, you seem to have got the wrong impression. I suggested that we could have some more contestants in the fray, who could join your gharana but said that I would not be willing to give up any of my contestants ( of course you did not ask for my contestants but I made my point just in order to be transparent about my thinking)

You were completely against getting anyone else in your gharana because you said no one could match Umm or Sunitha, so you wanted to quit.

Your talk about listening first and taking into your gharana was only in response to Zahida's recent questionnaire. So this is a new statement you are mixing up with an old one.

That reminds me of another statement of yours, when you said you wou wanted to take Urmi into your gharana without even listening to her! Some contradiction here.

Anyway, I wouldn't like to prolong this argument with you because I do respect you a lot.
