Let me start the post with this:

Chalo phir se agaya hai rakhi ka yeh tehwaar

Jis mein jhalakta hai bhai aur behen ka pyaar

Maana ke saare saal woh jhadagte rehte hai

Lekin is din milne ke liye tadapte rehte hai

Kuch ladke is din kisi ladki se milna nahi chata hai

Galti se bhi haath per rakhi nahi bandwana chata hai

Dar lagta hai is din koi kisi ka haath khushi se thamle

Phir apne purse se rakhi nikalke iske haath pe baande

Kuch bhi kaho yeh rishta dilate hai ladkiyo ko yeh vishwaas

Kahi na kahi uske bhai ke dil mein jagah hai uskeliye khaas

Yeh to hai woh pyaar aur woh jazba jo dilo ka deta hai ehsaas

Bohat khush naseeb hai woh log, behen ya bhai hai jiske paas

Nahi hai agar to "forum"(SRGMP section) mein aao, raho na tum udaas

Ek ko dhoondne niklo to miljayenge tumhe ek din mein hi pachaas(50)

What is Rakhi?

R - Re-affirming love and affection
A - A pray for long life and success
K - Keeping memories alive
H - Happiness and laughter
I - Innumerable shared Stories

Rakhi ka yeh tyohar aap sabke liye khushiyaan laaye... Chaliye, hum behne apni bhaiyon ki khushiyaan aur lambi umra ke liye prarthna karte hain... Hum door zaroor hain, lekin dil ke utne hi kareeb hain... Hum yahaan milkar rakhi haath mein toh nahin bandh sakte hain, lekin uska ehsaas zaroor le sakte hain... Kaisa rishta hain yeh jahaan yeh bhai-behan kabhi na mile ho aur phir bhi bhai-behan kehte ho... Yeh rishta dil se juda hain, pyaar se bana hain, Virtual hi kyun na ho, Real ka ehsaas dilata hain...

Today is nothing exceptional as the love and affection we share is the same daily, but lets take this day as the opportunity to express our love and concern for our brothers and sisters....

Truly you are my elder brother... One day will surely come where i can tie the rakhi for you and get the blessings and i pray to got that this day comes very soon....
