Well basically me and Sammy met 3 yrs ago at college and he tried to ask me out once but didnt realize i was already going out with someone then😆 ...but we laughed over it and became good friends..and as it turned out..the next year we both moved into the same apartment building 😃 ...so slowly we became pretty much best friends and eventually as usual, love somehow managed to come in between 😆

Well the story of how he proposed:

He was supposed to come back from India this Sunday but only a couple days before he had called to say he was thinking of extending his visit...which had made me pretty upset but eventually i figured he had gone after so long so he may as well enjoy his visit ....well then Saturday rolled along and one of my friends had invited me and my roomate to his anniversary party on a yacht and so that night we got ready and made our way to the location...

well we got off at the pier thing and everything looked soo nice…the yacht was fairly big and it was all lit up….and there were flowers even on the deck and around the yacht…but as we were walking up the ramp…I wondered why there was nobody outside? I knew we were kind of late but it looked pretty empty outside..but it was all lit up inside so I thought perhaps we were later than we had imagined and we hurried to get inside…so we got to the lobby and the guy pointed to which direction we had to go…and then my roomie told me she had to make a call for work and motioned for me to go inside without her

So I make my way up the steps and oddly enough everything looked kind of dimmer inside…even though from outside it looked brighter….well I got inside and it was completely empty and im like what on earth and then out of nowhere I hear the song "kya yehi pyaar hai" starting to play..just the music…and my mouth was just wide open and I still had no idea what was going on and then I saw..hiiiim! sameer was just standing there in a tux with a single rose in his hand….and well my mouth slowly closed and a smile just spread across my face…so I ran up to him and I was like whaaat are you doing here?!…but he didn't say anything…gave me the rose…and then the song just kind of started properly and he just held out his hand and asked if he could have this dance..so I gave him my hand and we danced …well then the song was over and we just stood there on the floor and he got down on one knee and first said that it was this day 2 years ago that the two of us met…and then he asked the question every girl waits to hear…and I had tears coming down like a flood but of couuuurse I said YES …and well the rest is all lovey dovey and im blushing just writing this so ill spare y'all the details 😳 😆

well all of our close family and friends had come and we let them know it was a yes and the rest of the night was spent cruising around manhatten with everyone just dancing and enjoying themselves 😃

sowwie if its too long..i just copied parts of it from my blog 😳 😆

Wow.. Payal How romantic... 😊😊

Hmmmm...I wish I still had the time/energy to have a crush on anyone... 😆

My biggest crush was when I was 14...on Stefan Edberg. My dream was to get to meet him, but that never happened...

Yeah, and this was the only crush my family actually knew about and told their friends and relatives about...😳 😆😆😆

I begged my dad to take me to movie shooting with him so that I could meet my sweet-heart. He never did, but he managed to tell Venky (that's his nickname 😉 ) that I was his ardent fan. Well, Venky got a card, wrote wishes for me inside and signed it as "Venky Uncle" . There you go... my crush crushed into a million pieces. 😭 😭 😭

Sri dear,

Sometimes these things are a blessing in disguise...imagine your life with Venky...you, Venky and your FOUR kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😳

My crushes i guess, a lot many of them I have already told. This one is a little special:

When I was in High School, this very beautiful, very sweet new girl came to our class. They were muslims ,had just shifted to Canada from Dubai, and was of Indian origin. As she entered the classroom the first day, me & my best buddy just sat there with gaping mouths..she was heavenly!!! Seeing two other indians as well, the girl became a little more comfortable with us and thus began our first day. On the first day itself my friend suggested, let's go drop her home so that she reaches safely. We offered and she accepted. She lived a couple of blocks off my place. Her mom invited us in and gave us some yummy kababs..😛

After that I was her mom's deewana more than her and find ways to go drop her so that I could eat more such stuff and aunty never disappointed me..This girl was a total tomboy and a prankqueen. So we three became a trio..and drove everyone nuts..somehow, somewhere , I developed a crush on her, my friend developed a major crush on her too, but first time in his life he did not tell me about it.

One day as she & me were returning home (my buddy was at home down with fever) and it was snowing, we took a break at the nearest Tim Horton and she told me how much she adored me.. I was too stunned to tell her anything and just kept quiete and decided to go and tell my friend first before i said anything to her.

In all excitement I reached my buddies house. I found my friend in a weird mood and asked what happened..he had a faraway look in his face.. he said he was in love..and i asked him all excited who it was..he said it was "HER" !!!

Well...... I never told him what i went to say..and next day told the girl..i never saw her that way..i was not meant for her....and kind of started ignoring her...my friend went to tell his feeling to her but she turned him down as well citing exactly the same reason i had given her. So three unhappy souls, once the best pals and now.. atleast for my friend I was there to support, she or me had none...

To cut a long story short, after a couple of months after that, her family shifted base to another province and have never heard from her. And the friend for whom I gave up my probably the first serious crush doesn't exist anymore either..

That's my story.......😊

You know what's the moral of this story? Love can be a serious impediment to friendships! The three of you could have continued as good friends if love had not come in between. Hota hai.
