Why actors/MD's want to sing? - Page 2

The astrologist in me says that we are at full circle.. in the initial decade of the Hindi films, there was no concept of playback singing and actors used to sing their own songs ..remember Ashok Kumar and Devika Rani? They weren't good singers but they used to sing their own songs..

Achhut Kanya (1936):

Devika Rani: main ban ki chidiyaa ban ke ban ban boloon re
Ashok Kumar: main ban kaa panchhi ban ke sang sang doloon re...

so history is at full circle... actors are back as actor-singers...after every 70 years history is going to repeat... I am a hobby astrologist and I am making this prediction.... Now since we are back at 1936 times, the good news is that the music of the golden era is now going to come back... in another 5-10 years from now (Naushad sahab started composing music from 1941)...this is my prediction... Himmy Bhaiyya ko apani topi aur gandi jeans utarni padegi.....aur dadhi bhi katvani padegi.....this is my prediction.....the history is going to repeat after every 70 years....

Salil, you are right. we gonna see new era of golden music again..that is my guess and wishful thinking..
