Himesh, Anu Malik, Akshay Khanna, Akshay Kumar, Rekha, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan( in some concerts) are singing. Do you like them singing. What you think make them go for singing.

Why do singers pursue acting? To prove they're versatile artists (whether or not they are is debatable) and/or because they want to try something new. The same applies to actors as well.

Interestingly none of these singers are given a chance by other MD's

says something about their singing capabilities doesnt it?

and this is not a Anu/HR thing only
Bhappi, ARR,Adesh, ID(they even gave a chance to his wife 😉, well maybe the reasons were different there ) are also in this boat
