it is a man made society - we grew up there and we always saw and were always made to believe that women cant do certain things and so men should take care... some of us believe in this disparity and the inequality and that is where we lose out...

if you ask me, other than the physical strength, the woman is lot more matured to handle everything else... and they are stronger in all other fronts too.. we never got the opportunity to prove it and hence it has become an unequal podium to start with now... but if we continue to think that way for ever, things will only go on like this for ever....

Agree 100% with Jaya why can't a women run home its just that we want to fell that we are weak. When it comes to rights we want equal rights for women then why can't we share equal duties too.

We give the chance to men to mold us the way they want to so they do if we don't they have no courage to do it.the time's changing .

In Canada i have seen ladies working while guys do household work and babysit and they live happily so why can't we indian women do it.

Manju ji, Jaya ji aur Pallavi Ji ke topic ke beech mein aane ki maafi chahthi hoon, par aisa topic aur hum issme shaamil na ho... yeh toh na munkin hai.

What a PERSON be it man or woman, wants to do is entirely their choice.

So if a man wants to sit at home and look after the household, while the woman, who is more adept goes out, does a job, earns salary and bring it back home, and the two of them are ok with it, why not.

Being a woman does not automatically chain you to the kitchen, hearth and home and neither does being a Man qualify you to be a free bird, doing as he means.

End of the day, certain duties to the house and family and society need to be fulfilled. Who does it is irrelevant. What is important is it gets done.

Yes jaya, I agree with most of you said. but you have to agree women is vulnerable and less physically strong taht's why she is not safe in many environment and that's why I think these things are the way they are. Men is supposed to protect women. I completely agree with you women has so much toelrance, and capability of working with other people & even then make it work that's why she is more suitable for house things and has been given previledge to give birth to a child.

Jaya we don't need to prove what you said, god knows it that's why only women can carry baby for 9 months and still be happy for it.

I have no problem if we want equality then don't expect men to work & you have a choice not to work. Don't expect men to protect you, you protect yourself & so on.... are we going to ask god change that men should also keep baby 4.5 months as that's not fair.... ( I am sorry I didn't want to say these things here but my point is we are made differently), if not then don't we have limitation? so ...

Jaya to make anything to work someone has to compromise otherwise things break & that's the reason we see more divorce now-a-days. I think women need to compromise on house front & men with outer word.

OK no matter what anyone says now, I am not going to reply as taht's all I want to say & there is no point going back & forth.

Sorry, it feels awkward that me taking side of men, but it's not that way, it's just being fair & impartial.
