pallavi ji ek baat bataiye, ky ahum nahin chate bahut see baatein from our husband & make them do what we want. But then our argument is we were right. It's like when two peoppe living together we do need to adjust and I am not saying things are 100% right for women, are they 100% right for men or anyoe in this whole world?
Life is not fair to startwith no matter who it is, we see all the time, so....
we want to stay home they should let us, if we want to work they should allow us, what if tomorrow men says I don't want to work you go ahead & earn, that should be fair according to equality right?

So, when we grow up, they expect that we must follow what they say.. Now, coming to your point - Who said that girls are allowed to study what they want, and study how much ever they want? Its actually not the case... Do you know how many girl children in Rural parts of India are deprived of their educational rights... They dont send the girl children to school and get them married in their young age.. In most of the orthodox family, "The girl is not allowed to study in abroad or go to abroad for her work, unless and untill she gets married to a person" A girl is not allowed to go out of the house after a particular time limit etc.. Now, where is the girl given all the rights to study what she wants and how much ever she wants?
I agree with you for this one 100%.
My example:
I did M. Sc. in Math from Mumbai with 73% (It was a lot those days) My professor wanted me to do Phd, my father was against it according to him in Gujju society(THose days) it is difficult to find a boy highly educated. My professor came to my hose tried to convince him, it didn't work. I joined teaching in college and did M.Phil (as it was a requirement). Now I am in USA my husband wants me to Phd as it is a requirement here to teach in the university and I don't feel like studying any more.
