Stop playing with it Shady.... Maths is a thorough science discovered in India for the conveniece of people. This is only one anomaly that has come up..... to prove one formula wrong so one anomaly in ocean of this science is alright....😊

3=2

first of, 3 units can NEVER = 2 units, unless if it was the coefficiant of sumtin. 3x can = 2x, but that still wouldn't make sence..if only X=1

If you think so, aren't we spoiling them by interacting with them more, thus making them more addicted? You Know Daisy it really saddnes me.. I really like Sunny (SDK) , Few days back he wrote that he posted 100 posts on that particular day.. I told him to get a life.. Life i s so new to them.. they should go out and explore the life.. instead of sitting infront PC and chat with unknown people.. there are bad people out there...I hope parents are guarding these kids like SDK n Tanisha...

Really nice answers. But, in the area I live, there's nothing to do. Since my parent's goto work, I'm usually always home alonee😆
we are making plans of going to atlanta and stuff.

This seems to be an anomaly or whatever u call in mathematics.

It seems, Ramanujam found it but never disclosed it during his life time and that it has been found from his dairy.

See this illustration:

-6 = -6

9-15 = 4-10

adding 25/4 to both sides:

9-15+(25/4) = 4-10+(25/4 )

Changing the order

9+(25/4)-15 = 4+(25/4)-10

(this is just like : a square + b square - two a b = (a-b)square.)

Here a = 3, b=5/2 for L.H.S and a =2, b=5/2 for R.H.S.

So it can be expressed as follows:

(3-5/2)(3-5/2) = (2-5/2)(2-5/2)

Taking positive square root on both sides:

3 - 5/2 = 2 - 5/2

3 = 2

You can not take positive squareroot on both sides. AS (a-b)^2=(b-a)^2

U can find a question that'll make 3=2, but it'll be the wrong answer. U can do this by using the Quadratic equation. There is sumtin, by mind isn't working right. It has too much of the quadratic stuff i it

and change the (25/4) by putting it in the middle. has to stay at the end

Sorry Kavitaji, I am putting this in the MOTW thread, but I could not resist 😃.

Here is some tips for those who are interested in Math.

This is from Vedic Math

1)When you want multiply two #s closer to 100.

ex. 96* 98

96= (100-4)

98= (100-2)
So 96-2=94 (or 98-4) is the first two digits of the answer.
And 4*2=8=08 are the last two digits of the answer.

So your answer is 9408.

2) Square of a number with the last digit 5:
35*35=1225
To get this you multiply 5*5 =last two digits
And for the first two digits take the first digit (3) * the consecutive number after the first digit (4)=12

Ex: 95*95=first digits (9*10) last digits (5*5)
=9025.

Cool stuff, isn't it?

hey, i know this stuff... 😛 I went for coaching class for writting my MCA entrance exam... And all these shortcuts were taught to us.. There are many short cuts which i found myself while learning them 😉 Some squares and cubes shortcuts, this is making remember those things.. If im allowed, i will put up those things too.. It was so interesting playing with the numbers... We had to solve 3 questions in one minute and these shortcuts were like boon to us... 😳

It is the most beautiful subject in the world

When I say this to my students they think i am crazy.
