Madhavi, you know there have been a few random threads lately against Nihira. I have nothing against constructive criticism - but these posts had no "valid" basis. So we just want to show our support for Nihira - as a wonderful singer, but even more importantly, a wonderful human being !!! 🤗Madhavi, I want to see Nihira and Hema in concert together... now that would be THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Govindji for your inputs. You made some really good points, which were not previously stated. Especially the fact that we should give respect to these young people who have shown a lot of courage and fortitude.

Tushar (tginvents, I am guessing thats your name), I have nothing against Nihira.. I was just a bit interested.

Hmm, Vinaya di, you are right. People are saying some singers are better than Nihira. But you know what happens, when we like one singer, we often feel that he/she is the best and its hard for us to take any comments. The comments made in that thread were far from +ve feedback. But then again, they are opinion of certain people. This is a free forum and every one has the right to that opinion.

I am saying this after getting bashed time and again for my loyalty towards Hemu. People said Qazi sings better than him. Fine. If they feel so, good for them. It doesn't matter what we think or what they think, at the end of the day, its about the stuff the singers have, their nature, their dedication and all this comes out in the final product.

No one needs to reiterate the point that Nihira's goodness comes in her singing. I've heard her before in SRGMP and as Nihira and Me are of the same age, I was as young as her when she took part. I was stunned to see her poweress than. Now,when I hear her sing, its like, she is singing from not just the heart, she is establishing a connection - from her soul to ours. And her good nature,comes out in her singing. If people fail to see that, well, we cant force our opinion on them. Tushar ji, again, by no means do I disagree with your post. Really admire your feelings and agree for most part.

Vinaya di, you are very lucky to have attended the concert and got the good oppurtunity to see them. These youth are great role models for the country in establishing the thirst to pursue their dream.

Lets pray that Hemu and Nihira do a concert together.. I loved it when they came on the SRGM to sing that alag song. There was a nice chemistry between them. I felt Nihira and Hemu more comfortable with each other than a lot of the jodis, thats the beauty of friendship and the link music can have.
