Update - 14th July

hi everyone 😊

Today will be the final elimination and to select the 10 Contestants for the finals... Yesterday, 5 contestants were selected and today another 5 contestants will be selected.. Together becomes 10 contestants for the finals...

Judges: The judges are Alka Yagnik, Bappi Lahri and Abhijeet.. The participants are judged based upon the Sur, Taal, Performance and Expression

Second 11 Participants:

Contestant 1: Abhrakanti from Kolkatta

Abhrakanti's hobby is Cooking and he reads lot of cookery special books.. He sings Tum mujhe Yun bhulana Paoge - a very good song sung by none another than Rafi sahab... He sings really well.. He brings in lot of classical notes in between the songs.. Very well sung... I felt he tried to sing the song in own way...

Review By Judges:

Bappida: Sung very wel.. But need little more practice..

Alka: Tells him that there are already many twists in the song, and not to bring in more twists to the song.. Sung very well...

Abhijeet: He says that, Abhrakanti sang Bandish.. Jaise gaana tha waise nahin gaaya.. Apne andaaz mein gaaya.. Bahut accha gaaya.. He calls him as a USTAD..

Contestant 2: Pawni from Mumbai

Her Hobby is Astrology... She sings Bhagon ki har phool ko apna samjhe bhagbaan.. Wow! verry good... She sings very well especially in the high notes... Very well sung...

Review By Judges:

Bappida: Sung very well

Alka: Asks what her Astrology says.. She calls her a strong contender of Lil Champ...

Abhijeet: Sang very well.. He says Already other judges praised her a lot before she was about to sing.. And he calls her the future of India


Contestant 3: Somnath from Delhi

His hobby is Cricket.. He sings Tumhi toh rahi, jeevan mein mere pyaar pyaar pyaar.. Sings well again.. He sang in a very high pitch.. The low notes also he took to high pitch..

Review By Judges:

Bappida: Sung very well.. Excellent.. Asks him who is the favourite cricketer and he replies its Irfan Pathan

Alka: The song was very good and sung well.. Dil ko bahut chua..

Abhijeet: Every note was high.. Dil ko bilkul nahin chua.. Har note pe Sixer maara...

Contestant 4: Disha from Kolkatta

Disha is a Odhissi Classical Dancer.. She sings O mere Sona re Sona re Sona... She was very nervous while singng and it was very well shown in her song...

Review By Judges:

Bappida: Accha gaaya.. But very nervous.. He says everyone is singing very well today.. And tats absolutely true...

Alka: There should be lot of spirit for the song.. But expressions were missing in the song..

Abhijeet: Itni baar Sona kahaa ki bappida ka sona kam pad gaya.. Why does he need to make such comment? No presentation..

Contestant 5: Sanchita from Kolkatta

Sanchita sings, Tujhe yaad na meri aayi from KKHH.. Very well sung.. Very good... She is another good contender for the lil champ.. Very trained singer also...

Bappida, Alka, Abhijeet: Very well sung.. Excellent... All of them praise her a lot... She sings really well and very good in high notes also...

Contestant 6: Gurpreet from Delhi

Gurpreet has been the favourite of many till now.. She is very sweet and sings very well.. She sings yeh mera dil pyaar ka deewana.. She must be the youngest contender.. I am not sure of this though... She sings very well.. She has a good chance of becoming the lil champ

Bappida: Very nice... Bahut accha gaaya

Alka: Alka calls Gurpreet a darling.. She asks her to do Riyaz.. She is very impressed by her

Abhijeet: He also calls Gurpreet as "Beta".. He praises her a lot.. He says. she knows how to present herself and sing...

Contestant 7: Geethashree from West Bengal

She sings Tum Pass aaye.. A good song by Alka.. But she doesnot sing very well.. Though she was good in Antara, her start was not good.. There was no expression with her singing...

Review By Judges:

Bappida: Sur mein thee but there was no expression..

Alka: The notes were shaking.. There should be more feeling in the song..
Abhijeet: He says "Gaana gaaya, lekin lyrics nahin gaaya" 😕 How come thats possible? Anyways, thats Abhijeet da comments... Only he knows what he is saying.. I am not able to understand his comments.. I dont know if he is praising or De-Motivating them with his comments...

Contestant 8: Diwakar from Delhi

He is Diwakar.. He cannot see, but he has been a constant motivator for many.. He is a gold medalist awarded by Computer Association.. He is a student and there is a Film which is dedicated on his name.. 👏👏 He sings very well.. He sings, "Dil ghun ghun karein" from Rudali..

Review By Judges:

Bappida: Very well sung, lekin aur Riyaz ki zaroorat hain...

Alka: Bahut accha gaaya.. You can sing much better...

Abhijeet: He says "You are a guide to besuraas.. Tumhe kitna dikhaayi deta hain yeh main nahin jaanta lekin you are a motivator for the besuraas.. Bahut Accha gaaaya"

Contestant 9: Rajdeep from Jamshedpur

He sings Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hain kehna.. He was good, but there was no modulation in his voice... He had a matured voice and there was only voice problem...

Review By Judges:

Bappida: Accha gaaya.. Lekin aur practice karo..

Alka: Voice modulation is required..

Abhijeet: You are singing like a Neta.. You are giving a bhashan and not singing... Alka interrupts him and says "Phir bhi accha gaaya".. Abhijeet sarcastically says "Accha gaaya"

Contestant 10: Surabhi from Kota

She is a Karate Champion.. Not sure of the song that she sang.. But needs more training in singing..

Bappida: Voice kaccha hain.. Get training..

Alka: She says she is not impressed with surabhi as she was expected more from her..

Abhijeet: He said "Karate choddo aur practice karo.. You have good voice quality" She says that she left karate in july.. Abhijeet says bahut der se choda.. Aur accha riyaz karo..

Contestant 11: Pranav from Lucknow..

he sings Tu hi re.. Very well sung... He is very soothing to hear.. Its a very beautiful song which he sang very well...

Review By Judges:

Bappida and Alka: They both praise him a lot.. They say bahut accha gaaya.. very well sung...

Abhijeet: He says "He will give marks only for the selection of song.. Selection of song is very good and the song composition is good and so the contribution of Pranav is so less"

Abhijeet says "Girls are surpassing boys today".. Alka says Tats true and they both just have an argument as to who is best.. Nice Entertainment though 😉 Our bappida is enjoying it... 😆😆 Abhijeet is unhappy as many girls sing well than the boys.. In that argument, "Abhijeet says "Its my sense of ....." Alka completes it as "Tumour oh no sorry Humour" 😆😆😆

Shaan's Announcement:

Shaan announces requests the School Principal's to help SRGMP get more contestants if there is some hidden talent in their school.. This is because, the contestants will be made to sing duet with the already selected participants 😕 Meaning, There will be a EMET for Kids Special too? 😕 Just imagining, "Less Lewis" making comments for their EMET.. 😆😆 He also says that they will be given a wild card entry in next season...

did you hear her " kuhu Kuhu bole koyaliaya " in earlier saregamapa - kids series ? she was amazing , she did a great justice to this classical song at such a young age. 👏

Wow, those kids are really talented for their age. And also the song selection was extremely good yesterday and today. They can easily give C2005/EMET contestants a tough fight, they are so good (atleast to my untrained ears). I'll watch retelecast tomorrow at 4pm (or is it 5?), phirse dekhoonga.

One thing I noticed that preview of next episode showed them doing group singing along with dancing, I hope they are not forced to dance n sing, it has been extremely good till now. They must stick with this format.
