surprised to see tracks like mohra in this list.. i think there are more deserving tracks..i feel like planet people are considering both generation in mind while deciding this....

Definition changes over the period, so may be definion of classic has changed now.

rajarani's list is nice no doubt but I would probably keep 5 (maybe 6) out of his/her list...

I started listing my top 10 but failed miserably. There are just so many good ones that I dont want to leave out. How does one go about compiling it:
- By year
- By decade
- By music director (might be the easiest way) and then sneak in the other less known ones

juggyE ji, thanks so much it is not easy job It's a monumental task to identify such masterpieces and now you can understand why so much of argument and complain from all. It is easy to say than doing it.
