Whoa.. quite a discussion going on here!

Sorry folks, was out of town for 2 days, so couldn't respond to your posts.

This topic seems to have turned into a BS vs UA battleground. However, let me say that I have nothing against UA, and I have said that they did sing well this week. My only concern is with the attitude of the show, and of the judges and gurus, towards BS. It doesn't mean BS sang better than UA. The performance of the jodis is one thing, and the attitude of those mentioned above is another thing.

Anyway, this debate will continue between the fans and no conclusion will probably be reached. I just wanted to express my views and make my point, which I did.

Special thanks to those who took pains to explain to the others that this post was not to bring down UA's performance. I've said that numerous times myself, but oh well....

After seeing the video I do feel that you are 100% right.Abhijit is really out of his mind and by giving this kind of comments he is demeaning himself only.On Challenge 2005 finale,his comments,"Pair chhuna hai to chuo Lataji ke..kyunki Lataji ke pair chhune se hi kuuch ban paoge'was really funny...Come on..this act 'pair chhuna' is to show respect and nothing else.I don't know what is the correlation between pair chuuna and becoming successful.
And on 9thth June episode he was acting like a clown only..
He did demoralise BS jodi so much so that they couldn't give even their average performance.I hope this 🤡 doesn't appear again 🤢 👎🏼

Hi Shady - I feel a lot has been said on this topic, so just to steer away the conversation, one thing that you had written in your commnts ws that we can't expect Nihira to sing a Jaspinder Narula song.... Just to bring back old memories, do you remember Nihira sing the Hare Rama Hare Krishna song, where she sung both the Asha Bhosle part & Usha Uthup part with equal justice & brought out her versitality for the first time?

Thanks Shadyji, BS fans have taken your response to another level. You clarified earlier that you were not happy with Leslieji and Abhijeet, but u did feel UA sang better.

At the end its all about singing.

Yes I remember that song, and I did consider that when I was making this comment. However, Usha Uthup has a classical feel to her voice, even if her voice may be huksy. Whereas a lot of times Jaspinder Nirula sings like she's simply shouting.

We've seen how Twinkle tried copying Jaspinder in Pyaar to Hona hi Tha, and how bad she sounded.

But I agree that Nihira was great in the Usha Uthup part. Who knows, she may even do a Jaspinder. But I woudn't put my money on it, and I wouldn't want her to, in any case.

UA were the best today, I've said that twice in my post. I am not unhappy with the judgment and singing stars they got.

I'm unhappy with Abhijit's attitude and behavior and Leslie's confused state of mind.

Yaar, Abhijeet guzra hua kal hai, SHARIB aane waala kal hai. Guzre hue kal ke bhaunkne se aane waala kal badal nahin jata.

UA kitna bhi accha gayein is competition mein, bhale hi woh jeet kyon na jayein.....lambi race ka ghoda to Sharib hai.

UA will be history after this competition, Sharib has the potential for making history in playback singing. I feel more happy for that fact than them winning this farcical Jodi # 1 tag.

wat shady says i wrote abt this frm the very begining. anyway who cares... Allah is always with them who are good by heart. judges ko maro goli..ham hey na BS ki sath
