I have said it earlier that Debo's Album has sold 2 lac copies and 75% of it only in the eastern region. In bombay it is not even 10000, which is the hub of Non-film and film music. And by the way, the biggest hit of the year so far in Non film albums is AAP KA SUROOR and it has sold 3 million copies and will obviously sell more since new song Sayonee is out.
So say all you want, but I am having the last laugh. All HR bashers are mostly Debo supporters, and I can say that my Fav has really kicked out the competition from the market.
And Kailasa is no 1 for the week that means in its lauch week it has sold a few copies more than HR, who is ruling since 2 months now. I am 100% sure no one will achieve even 50% sales of Aap Ka Suroor in the Non-film section.
And to all you HR bashers and Debo supporters, truth is harsh and better luck next time !

I think u have knowledge of only HR albums..... Kailasa is launched atleast three weeks back.... and the songs are far better than Aap ka surooor......

Ok HR has achieved something.... but u dont have any right to say anything about others..........

Karan, few days ago you gave few reasons on HR's popularity with facts and figures (god knows from where!?!)...you were not negative about other MDs or musicians or music contestants....

But with your above post, you have shown your real colours....your above post nothing but a negative report on an upcoming musician....where then heck did you get the info that Debojit's album was a flop????

For your information, it has been reported that Debojit's album is No.9 on the top 10 chart...do you think it would appear on the top10 if it was a flop????

You call yourself a Tabalchi, right? just review your post once again and see whether you are acting objectively? NO....to us it looks like you are acting jealous....

btw, Duma Duma is and will be a hit....period...no more arguments with people with negative mind....

Karan - if this isn't a instigation or 'War cry' I don't know what is!!
And you blame HR bashers!! Great going bro 👍🏼

BTW - I've noticed - you carefully avoid all the logical questions directed towards you and pop up in only to show your fanfare!

Please answer those before you hum the songs for your Himmy Bhaiya!
To start with - try this:

Hey Karan – I had to edit out the first part of your post. DO NOT attack members personally please. Anyone criticize HR is jealous of him? When you criticize terrorism – does that mean you are jealous of terrorists? Now don't jump the gun and assume I am saying HR is a terrorist!!

Coming to Vinit's love story - I think you got the picture wrong – HR didn't publicized (we will come to the 'scripted' part later) to get publicity for himself! He did it to publicize Vinit – to make him win – great marketing staunt – which almost worked! Scripted or not he took part in that 'love story' saga – so don't blame the members here, if they feel cheated when they come to know there is no one, or he is a shy kid of 18 can't spell out in front of everyone! Then why use that catchy thing to get vote?

You are right about the 'scripted' part – at least partially, and we are aware of the TRP game as well as the chartbusting game where HR holding the winning position for the time being. That's a dirty world – we all know that! Regarding 'gullibility' – As far as I know same set of people who are going gaga over HR/ same set of people believe Vinit is a 'Prodigy' – they were/are only interested to know – who is the GF of Vinit!! So who are gullible here?

About ID's comment : Long before that – HR said in NATIONAL TV – 4 days later <time> come to <this> studio – I will record a song with you. We all know you are very close to HR. Could you please ask him from our behalf – WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT PROMISE? Or you want us to believe that was 'scripted' too?

For this stated 'fact' below: if you can't provide a link / proof - sorry can't accept your figures! 😊

Originally posted by: karan_bhai

Miss Daphli, I have mentioned the source of the figures is IMI & Trade guide. They account for sales of each cassette / CD in India & overseas. These figures are authentic as obatined from the respective music company and these are the same figueres on which Royalties are paid, so even the companies cannot fake them. This is a foolproof way of checking the sales. Even for a film, the tradeguide is giving the exact figures for a movie sales.
And what colours are you talking about, i have called a spade a spade and if the album sale figures are low, they are low. Do you get it ???
And Mr.Kabhi, let me tell you that the it must have been 3 weeks for Kailasa's release but the figures taken are from its first week or second week sales as they have to compile and publish.

I only compared to the sales of Hr's album coz it is the highest selling non film album so far in 2006 and when u compare with the best u realise the diff. Its not to ridicule Debo, coz an album is a combined effort, Biddu / SAREGAMA/ HMV & Debo all are involved, plus also the marketing team is involved, if the album fails, the credit or dis-credit goes to all.
I have just told you the numbers from the Tradeguide, which are true. In one of my earlier posts i had said that maybe with a release of some other song from the album, the sales might pick up, but so far its not good.
You know Abhijeet sawant had sold about 6 lakh cassettes in the first week of his launch.
So dont get emotional, be practical.

Rather this news seems to be published all over the new channels all over. If you are not possessed yet - please share your comments on this too:

Vadodara, May 31: Bollywood may have stood up for Aamir Khan, but it doesn't stand a ghost of a chance when it comes to revoking this "ban". So Himmesh Reshammiya's hit number Jhalak dikhla ja, ek baar aaja, aaja... may set feet tapping at discotheques, but in Anand district's Bhalej village, it seems to have set alarm bells ringing.

Why? Residents claim that the lyrics are an invite to "ghosts"😆 who then possess residents. The person possessed - some put this number at five, others at 20 - run a high temperature and behave in a strange manner.

Rationalists and others may dismiss the idea as silly, but the 10,000-odd villagers are so worried that they've decided that the song - picturised on serial kisser Emraan Hashmi - won't be heard in the village😆. What's more? They're seeking divine intervention: approaching the maulvis as well as planning visits to neighbouring temple town Dakor.

Majid Malek, father-in-law of sarpanch Saira Malek, speaks about the problem "plaguing the village since last fortnight".

"Since the last 15 days, we've noticed this problem. There have been about 20 such cases since then," says Malek. Mushtaq Thakore says there have been around five such cases, including that of a newly wedded girl Sartajbanu.

"The lyrics are such that they draw the attention of the ghosts, after which the person starts screaming and also runs a high temperature😆. The only way out is to seek divine help. Muslims go to maulvis, Hindus to their godmen," Mushtaq says.

Incidentally, the ghosts also have a particular spot where they choose their "victim". The graveyard adjoining the lake. 😆

After realising that the song could be the "root cause" of the "possession problem", the village has decided to clamp down on it. The song may be a hit with wedding parties, but not in Bhalej. Allarakha, a musician with Rahi Music Band, says, "We get many requests to play different numbers, but we are asked by villagers to avoid this number."
