american idol’s hemu is out

I am among those who are still suffering from the hangover of srgmpchallenge 2005.to compensate i started watching americanidol[really good and genuine show .they just allowed voting for 2hrs] and i compared the final contestants with our finalists. [ and i wonder somany times that if adwarakanath and company would have watched this show how many wondeful articles and analysis they all would have written]

elliot yamin is a great singer just like our hemu.he is never out of key and has excellent vocal range but last night he was voted out .

and now debojith and vinit are left .i compare taylor hicks to debojith and katherine to vinit. lets see who wins.

anybody watching this show?

Yeah,my daughters are.I'll start watching from now onwards,I think they've recorded it.They're very upset yesterday.

i want taylor to win too.i enjoy taylor's performances very much .he is good entertainer .but comeon elliot is good singer.his teeth doesn't have anything to do with his singing.

Taylor is a livewire! There is no other word for that guy! A true entertainer and an excellent singer with a good range.

Elliot is good, but he consistently picked the wrong songs or the wrong arrangements. Unfortunate, but true.

Katharine has a great voice and amazing range! But, she is unable to infuse her own style into many songs. When she tries to do that, she messes up. "I Believe I can fly" is just one example.

I want Kat to win!!!! Just because Taylor flails around while singing doesn't mean he's a good singer. Elliot and Kat are just as good as portraying emotion in songs as he is. I won't deny that Taylor is a good singer, but he doesn't have the range and vocal dynamics that Elliot or Kat have. Most of his songs have the same range of a few notes. His high notes sound like he's shouting. Anyway, Taylor has a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee fan base so I wouldn't be surprised if he won. He would be a lot like Ruben of 2nd season: enough talent to win, but not enough to survi.ve in the music industry.

I agree. She went overbpard trying to individualize the song, but I think she had to. The judges really hate that song because it's been sung soooooooo many times, especially in the audition rounds. And I think she has developed her own. I could distinguish her voice in the radio.

neither taylor or elliot deserves to win. .The american idol should have been chris. .if anything, katherine should win cuz taylor and elliot both are horrible. compared to chris, they're nothing.

well, let's see. american idol is a show based on singing, right? where does "entertainment" come into the picture?
