Bheegi Bheegi is anyway sung by a Bangladeshi rock singer James ... infact James doesn't know a word of hindi and the entire lyrics were written in bengali so that he could sing the song ...

The original song is "prithivi" by a bengali rock band Mohiner Ghoraguli ... the song dates back to the 80s ....

Pritam himself accepts the fact that all his compositions in the movie have been inspired from other songs ... I saw it in an interview on Zee Music ..

The original sounds much much better. I liked Ya Ali, but felt something lacking there. Now I understand why! 😛

Btw, does anyone have the arabic lyrics and translation?
