This is regarding saregamapa middle east muqabala being aired in dubai every sunday at 8.00 pm. just to give an overview, the overall quality of the singers and recording is quite poor as compared to the indian shows. for the first few episodes kumar sanu was the judge, later jatin, it was the first for aadesh yesterday. i want to share with you yesterday's episode.
there are total of 4 singers in an episode- two girls & two boys - barring one girl, all the others were lousy yesterday. i was amused to watch aadesh's expressions changing from irritation to anger and then to plain lack of interest. one boy said he sings only as a hobby and aadesh advised him to keep hobby as hobby and not bring it to musical stage unless he takes serious interest in it. to the second boy who was dancing a lot, he said i liked everything what you did except your singing. use your other decorations later when you have perfected singing. aadesh's facial expressions were really hilarious and to add to it all, vinit the host, kept saying after each song kya baat hai, kya badiya gaaya hai. i continued watching the episode only since i could not control my laughter at aadesh's changing facial expressions & vinit's comments after each song.
among the boys aadesh had trouble to select the winner since both of them were bad - he had to finally decide who was less worse and declare him as winner!
i wonder why zee people selected such lousy singers and why aadesh was the blessed one to judge them in his first presence at middle east muqabala. 😆
