Did you all know that Bappida is Kishore Kumar's nephew?

Also, there were couple of songs Bappida himself sang, because Kishore Kumar either refused or passed away. Bappida, rarely, ever sang. His voice sounds incredibly South Indian.

He sung as the song "Aana Jaana" from Giraftar, because Kishoreda refused to sing that song. Bappi also claims that JL lifted the intro tune for Mohabbatein's "humko humi se churalo").

Kishoreda's last song was for Bappida in the movie "Waqt Ki Awaaz" with Ashaji. The song was "aye guru guru aa jao guru pyaar mein ho jaa shuru." The song was sung on October 12, 1987, the day before he passed away.
