For example we could've enjoyed many more great works of Oscar Wilde โ€“ if he was not suppressed by public due to the controversies!

Well Anol, when a person comes into limelight, the glory that follows comes with some pitfalls as well. Every facet of their personality is analysed threadbare.

Yet there are so many greats who have chosen to keep themselves above such controversies and yet be worshipful of their chosen vocation. We all wish we had such kind of artistes... but with every passing day, it just seems to be a dream to find such an artiste.

OP Nayyar Found??

I didn't know he was lost ๐Ÿ˜• . I'd seen him in C2005 early stages - in the
episode w/ Kavita Krishnamurthy, on the day Aadesh and Ismail had a big
fight.

I remember quite well - the guy who looked like AK Hangal in a hat. ๐Ÿ˜† [/

Exactly - -what is this nonesense?

Rearding his moving in... Till we know the complete story, I wouldn't judge him based on one article in Mid-day...

I agree Juggy E on this..Lata ruled indutry and to open jung was a open challenge to industry and he succeded. Donot forget sajjad Hussain..one of the best composer till date but due to arrogance..he was lost. OP made his stand. Who knows what went behind the scene.

Querty ji
mentioning some songs of Suman. You really thing she was no good????? Suman and even Usha Mangesker were shadowed by Lata. Geeta dutt had mixed rasons. personally I like Geeta. Her Sad songs, Naughty songs, Romantic songs..they all speak their moods in the song perfectly. But i do belive they were victim of Lata's golden time. Her sucees was down fall for them, not because they were less talented..but because they were not given chance as directors/composers were afraid to go against Lata. I like her too and Yes she is a legend and kokila and a pride of our country . But some godd singers were lost in her glory period.
Which is normal too in the film Industry.
