He is equivalent to GOD for many in B'lore...had just seen on news channel that people have closed shops n set fire to lot of vehicles coz the fans cud see his dead body neither at his residence nor at the mentioned alternative grounds....

May his soul rest in peace...we know how hard it is when a talent is lost 😭

I am upset since I read this news.. He is Rajanna or Ann varu to all Kanndigas, I grew up watching his movies, he was a great actor as well as singer. above all He was a Jem of a person

I felt as if I lost a dear family member today

One more thing abt Rajkumar IS THAT HE never smoke or drunk on or Off the screen, He had always felt that Drinking and smoking on screen would mislead his fans..

His body has been kept in Kanteerava Stadium for public viewing. Lakhs of people from all corners of the state are coming for the last glimpse of our Annavaru. His body will be taken to Kanteerava Studio in Nandini Layout this evening for the last rites. May his soul rest in peace.

These people must be dealt sternly. Fan hone ke ka yeh matlab yeh nahin hai ki buses ko jalao, Offices ko aag lagao, vehicles ko jala do. What kind of law and order do we have even in a Metro like Bangalore that a mob can torch buses, offices etc...they all should be put in jail.

BTW, what was the reason for this violence? 😕

May his soul rest in peace. I dont understand the violence either. It seems like some miscreants are taking advantage of the situation. I dont think they are real Rajkumar's fans. It is so disheatening to hear that and these incidents probably mar the true mourning of the great icon.

It is so sad, to me Rajkumar was everything, I grew up watching his movies, listening to his songs. What was so interesting was he was never typecasted. Played different roles all the time and never portrayed as a smoker or drunkard in any of his movies. My favourite Rajkumar movie is "Kasturi Nivasa", what a great actor he was. My favourite Annavru song is "Aaradisuve madanari".
