Appaji, You yourself say that the member is sailing around with 40 to 60% warning, and yet you yourself so far don't have any warning....does it not speak volumes? We don't like to hand out warnings or ban people at the drop of a hat. No one has been blameless here. Provoked or otherwise, terrible comments and pinching sarcastic rebuttals have come from both sides. The number has been so enormously high that many a times even before we can chance upon such a post, it is buried under 100 other such posts. We have been imploring everyone, if you have a problem, contact us. We don't have a magic wand, but we can help and do want to help.

No, but we don't expect you to get down to that level either. Mohinis was wrong, but so was Surma bhopali and others who started the whole thing. This is a vicious cycle. Once started, all you can do is go round and round and get mucky. And unless you all get a kick out of it, I don't see how this is benefitting anyone other than leaving a very bad taste in the mouth.

Hmnn...well, as it happens, I know for sure that other than Jem, Priya, me, Vijay, all are staunch Debo fans. Bhaskar, I don't know, but I think he too likes Debo a little better than Vinit (hats off to you Bhaskar, even I don't know whom you like, and you guys call such mods biased? ). We try our level best not to bring that onto here most of the time. It's not fair. But what you all forget is that we too are members here first and then mods and we too have a right to like/dislike someone. For example, I don't like HR ( though I love some of his compositions - music has little to do with the person himself), I like Debo, I too get annoyed when regional comments get tossed up and I want to write about it. I want to discuss what my pov is. But when I come here, all I see is fighting, personal attacks and an awful atmosphere. Had I been just a member, I might have just left. But being a mod, I try to do what I am supposed to do. And that is not only me, but every other mod on the forum, more so with the others who are a regular here almost 24/7. And being crucified for that is an extremely painful thing.
