They sing Tauba-Tauba from Kaal... Sharib ur really too good for banjo and this show... .. Audience asks him to sing again.. Coz, u cannot stop listening to him... Banjo performance was mediocre... She wasnt that good as sharib.. How can she be??? Alka says Overall pleasant performance.. Hariji says they were in mood... Less says very electrifying performance.... At last ishitaa says, Sharib ka topi kamaal kar raha hain.. Topi yahan bhi?? are yaar, SRGMP kya topi ke saath hi shuru hota hain???

They sing Tumhare Sivaye kuch na chaha... Cant figure out which movie... But Rajeev did better than Sanchali today.. This song didnt suit Sanchali much... Alka says Sanchali ko aur pyaar se gaana chahiye... Hariji says Rajeev sang well and better than Sanchali.. Less asks Alka to sing the song again to show Sanchali the diff... And asks Sanchali to sing again.. Now she sings very well with a romantic feel.. Less says, Sanchali supports Rajeev a lot while singing.. Overall very good...

They sing orechori from lagaan... Sinchan had some mulethi in her throat.. Which affected her singing and performance... But judges praise her for not giving up... Hariji says better than all...

Viswnath is not expelled.. He asks sorry to all the judges... He says, he told this shairi for getting votes... Cant really figure out wat he said.. So, people who watched it keenly to know wat he said, post it.. WAS THIS AN ANOTHER DRAMA CREATED BY SRGMP??? Alka says Viswanath was very good.. Hariji says more technicality required for viswanath...

They sing Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam title song.. Viswas was really good... He brought in a real feel to the song... Twinkle was ok.. Not so good.. Over all an average performance... Alka Praises Viswas.. Hariji too praises him but says there is scope for improvement... Viswas said in the green room that, this song is a ghee ka ladoo and that he is happy with the performance...

Back with the updates.. Today is Baisakhi Special and everybody is in Bhangra mood...

All of them sing Ishq tera tadpave not on the stage but some where in a camp.. I dnt know why SRGMP wants to do all this?? They show a beach where all the jodi's do masti and then a camp where everybody burn fire and dance and sing and do masti.. Anyway, its all abt our grt gajji choice...

Gruvee gurus predicts it as either Rajeev-Sanchali or Sharib-Banjo.. and Rajeev-Sachnali becomes no.1 this time.. Rajeev's aunt had come to the show and she and rajeev are very happy with this... SR sing Akhiyon se gal kar gayi... And they get 18.68% of the votes.. Rajeev does not sing well and says he is sorry for that...

Jodi No.2: Twinkle-Viswas

Gruvee Gurus predict as Sharib-Banjo.. But its not... Its TV.. Seems like these people are really popular... They get 18.29% of the votes.. They sing Ranjhrave-Mahiyave-Soniyave.. I didnt like Twinkle's voice in this song..

Jodi No.3: Sharib-Banjotsna

Gruvee Guru's predict as either BS or Prajakta-Hrishikesh.. Its BS again.. Last time too they got the 3rd place.. Only the first two is interchanged... They get 17.82% of the votes.. Cant figure out what song they sang..

Jodi No.4: Prajaktha-Hrishikesh

Gruvee guru's predict it as either PH or Ujjaini-Ash.. Its PH again.. Last time also they had the same 4th place... Really happy for them... They get 11.21% of the votes.. They sing akhiyon se marde mundiya.. im bad in punjabi...

odi No.5: Saptak-Joyeetha

Gruvee guru's predict it to be Ujjaini-Aishwarya.. But its Saptak-Joyeetha.. According to the judges they ranked no.8, and they were in border line last week also.. But now here, they are back again action.. They have got 9.26% of the votes.. They sing Shava-Shava from K3G.. Seems like this jodi like all songs of K3G very much.. Last time they sang Ur my soniya... .. Never mind.. Better performance by this jodi than the top 4..

Jodi no.6: Ujjaini-Aishwarya

Gruvee guru's have been selecting them from 4th position.. At last they have achieved it.. Ujjaini is not happy with this.. She comes to tears... They get 9.23% of the votes and sing Channave ghar aaja ve by Kunal Really a very good performance by them.. Less was pretty happy which we can know by his reactions..

So, the border line jodi's are SI and RV

Jodi no.7: Sinchan-Irfan

As known by all, its Ratima-Viswanath who are eliminated.. So, Sinchan-Irfan becomes jodi. no.7.. No performance as the border line jodi never gets a chance to perform..They get 8.9% of the votes and are 1% ahead of RV..

So, RV are eliminated..

They sing hoye-hoye ki kudiyaan.. Its a nice song, but can figure out the wordings.. Really will miss them.. They sang really well.. And ya the gruvee guru's are not using veto power this time...

Tomoro the theme is mann pasand gaana.. And TOMORO'S GUEST IS HIMESH RESHAMMIYA.. I am really happy and looking forward to see him in again in SRGMP.. All Himeshji fans, never miss it.. A Golden Opp coming up.. I think he is singing lagi-lagi

Update Dated: 14-4-06

I am so excited as Himeshji is back on the show.. The show begins with Shaan singing Take me to your heart from his album Tishnagi.. Wow! Shaan magic starts again... He sings really well.. A very romantic feel to the song.. Luv u shaan.. Go on singing in every show.. We want to hear you..

Hariharan and less says, they are going to be very strict with the stars from now.. An AV is shown where Less gives tips to all the contestants.. He asks Sharib and Twinkle to sing together and Viswas says Twinkle sings well with Sharib.. Why not.. They both had to be the pair...

And now for the biggest momemnt

Shaan calls Happening himeshji to the stage.. Himeshji is really happy, jumps around and yells.. He says, This stage is magical and bahut saari yaadein judi huyi hain and other stuffs... He is really excited to be back on the show... He says his bolti bandh ho gayi hain... He yells. JAI MATADI LETS ROCK Shaan shouts back: LETS ROCK

Jodi No.1: Sanchali-Rajeev

They both sing Lagi-Lagi from Aksar.. Rajeev sings better than Sanchali today.. Sanhcali has some throat ka problem I think... But overall they sang very well...

They both sing Hay Rama from Rangeela.. I remember Hema singing this song.. Wow that was real wonderful performance.. Cant forget that performance.. Though this jodi couldnt near them, they did well.. Acc to me Twinkle was very good today..

Jodi No.1 : Sanchali-Rajeev

The judges rating is either twinkle-viswas or ujjaini-Aishwarya.. But its Sanchali-Rajeev.. They start singing Jai-Jai shiv shankar.. But Sanchali loose the track and judges say they are to be disqualified for this round.. So, the contestants are asked for if they can be allowed.. And the contestants agree with this.. But Hariji doesnot agree with this.. At last they get the chance to sing again.. they get 19.38% of the votes..

Jodi No.2 : Ujjaini-Aishwarya

The judges rating is either twinkle-viswas or ujjaini-Aishwarya.. And its Ujjainii-Aishwarya.. They sing pyaar hua ekraar hua hain of Nargis and Rajkapoor.. I felt that they could have done much better.. Hariji says, they have got votes because they got good stars in EMET magic.. they get 18.71% of the votes..

Jodi No.3 : Twinkle-Viswas

The judges rating is either twinkle-viswas or Sinchan-Irfan.. But its Twinkle-Viswas.. They sing ude jab-jab zulfein teri staring dilipkumar and vaijayantimala.. Viswas was good but Twinkle can improve..they get 16.33% of the votes..

Jodi No.4: Sharib-Banjotsna

The judges rating is Sinchali-Irfan.. But its BS.. They sing aaja-aaja main hoon pyaar tera staring Shammi Kapoor.. Their chemistry has improved this time.. They get 13.03% of the votes.. The judges are very surprised and want to know on wat basis the public is giving the votes.. They ask why they have to give the stars if the public is gonna vote the way it wants to.. Even i think its quite right..

Jodi No.5 : Saptak-Joyeetha

The judges rating is either Sinchan-Irfan or Hrishikesh - Prajaktha.. But its JS... They sing pardesiya yeh such hain piya staring BIG B and Rekha.. They were good in their singing.. they get 11.33% of the votes..

Request by the Live Audience

Relatives of all the contestants have come down today to see the performance of the contestants.. So, relatives of SI and PH request that these 2 jodi's should also be allowed to perform.. So, that they can also get the chance to see the border jodi's perform.. The judges to agree to this and so, the these 2 jodi's also perform today.. And one person also request that if SI is voted out, they must be given one more chance with the VETO power because, of the demise of Mr.Rajkumar in Bangalore and so they were not given the votes...

Prajaktha-Hrishikesh

They both sing gaata rahe mera dil.. Hrishikesh was marvellous Less and hariji both praise them a lot.. Less says, Hrishikesh ne toh hilake rakhidya.. They get 9.58% of the votes

Sinchan-Irfan

They both sing a song from Khel-Khel mein of Rishi kapoor and nitu singh.. I dnt remember the song... They were really good.. Sinchan was really good with the song... They get 8.88% of the votes.. The judges say that in today's performance, the border 2 jodis were the best...

Though the eliminated jodi is SI, the GRUVEE gurus use the VETO power for them and keep them in the contest.. They justify it by saying that Sinchan-Irfan have improved a lot and are improving also.. But they request for one more VETO power..

The contestants start singing mohan ki ek radha from Pyaare - Mohan.. Shaan joins them and a real good singing by all of them.. Enjoyed it.. Dnt miss them.. Vivek and Amrita enter the stage.. Vivek is playing the character of Mohan in Pyaare-Mohan and he is a deaf.. So, he does some fun with his character...

Today they are showing an AV on the contestants like how they did during C2005.. They sing Kambakth Ishq from Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya Before that, a small AV is shown from the movie clip where Fardeen runs to save Urmilla from comitting suicide.. Here, Banjo is having a gun in her hand and she says, "Sharib tum apna jodi Twinkle ke saath hi banao.. main tumhe maar dalungi agar hamein EMET mein 7 stars nahin mile toh.."

They sing Bumbroo from Mission Kashmit.. Before that, a small AV is shown on them.. TV are practicing for the contest.. And they fight for Twinkle always supporting Sharib.. Viswas is shown with a gun and an poster which says "Mission Sharib".. Viswas sang really well...

here is the update for today.. Recap of thursday and friday episodes are shown..

Group Performance and PH in Ludhiana : All of them sing in a theme park.. Seems like its Essel World.. And they all sing Loose Control from Rang De Basanti.. Its an AV.. On the stage, Shaan and Ishitaa call the Gruvee gurus.. They enter from back stage and dance 2 steps for the song... PH go to Ludhiana for vote collection..

Total Votes this week : 15,45,000 votes.. And today's special is Pancham Da..

One more veto for judges: Judges are given one more veto power and they are happy with it.. All the contestants are asked for whom would they have used the veto power.. and the contestants say it would have been for Niladri-Vineeta..

Jodi No: 1 - Sanchali - Rajeev

The judges according to the stars say, it will be UA, but its SR.. again SR get the Top jodi.. They get 18.52% of the cotes.. I dnt know why again This jodi becomes the top jodi?? what is this public hearing to vote the contestants?? Is it one more assam task??? All the jodi's are asked wat they think abt this and Sharib and Saptak ask, "Rajeev kasie public ko patate ho??"" TV says, if they get top jodi, they must maintain it and sing accordingly.. They both sing Sanam teri kasam from sanam teri kasam..

Jodi no: 2 - Twinkle - Viswas

According to the judges, it is given to either TV or PH.. Sorry, missed the total voting percentages.. The judges are happy with this jodi coming to no.2.. They sing kehdoon tumhe ya chup rahun

Jodi no: 3 - Sharib - Banjotsna

The judges say, according to them they are in no.6 this week, but the public like them and so they are here in no. 3.. Banjo's mom or aunty had come and she speaks in Assamese.. She says mera aashirwad tum dono ke saath hain.. acha gaao.. They get 14.72% of votes.. and they sing oh haseena julfon wali jaane jahaan.. Sharib was good as usual...

Jodi no: 4 - Ujjaini - Aishwarya

At last, they are here.. Their performance was the best on friday.. And still they are in no.4 aakhir, what is the reason?? why is public doing this in all reality shows?? starting from C2005 to II2 to now... anyways, today Aishwarya was simply superb.. thinks seem like Ash is returning back to form.. Less complaints on them being in no.4 and he says unke stars koi maine nahin rakhte.. They sing Duniya mein logon ko dhokha kabhi ho jata hain... Ash took Panchamda's awaz also... They get 14.34% of the votes...

Jodi no.5 - Sinchan-Irfan

They are happy and judges too.. They sing lekar hum deewana dil.. They get 13.72% of votes.. They both co-oridnate very well and sing.. It was pleasant to hear to them.. The judges praise them and say aaj jo gaaya it was really good...

Boarder Jodi performances

Saptak-Joyeetha : They sing pyaar mein dilpe maar de goli.. Couldn hear to the song as was busy in update.. But it was really good.. Both saptak and joyeetha sang well.. joyeetha was better.. their chemistry was good says less also.. They get 9.66% of the votes

Hrishikesh - Prajakta : They sing churaliya hai tumne jo dilko from yaadon ki bharat.. Though they were not in mood, they sang well.. They get 12.36% of the votes..

Today's Guest : Disco King Bappi Lahri All the contestants sing Jhoom Jhoom baba.. Its from his new album for which promotion he has come today... All contestants sing together.. PH and SR join the other 4 jodi's later.. Bappida joins them then joining them are Shaan and Ishitaa.. All the audience and the GG's enjoy the performance...

AV of Joyeetha and Saptak are shown by reminding them.. Shaan remembers them for their best performances..

Jodi no:1 - Banjotsna and Sharib

They sing inthaan ho gayi intzaar ki.. I think the movie is sharabi picturized on Big B.. Bappida gives some tips on how to sing the song and ya, he also says that Kishoreda got filmfare for this song.. Sharib sang really well.. but banjo forgot some lines and then, sharib had to balance it well..

They sing jalta hai jiya mera bheegi-bheegi raaton mein.. from Zakhmee I dnt know the movie.. hrishikesh was too good.. It was really nice... Nice singing and EMET too today... Bappida says it is one of the top 10 songs that he consider in his composition.. and it was his first song too.. and so, bahut saari yaadein taaza ho gayi...

All Sing Jhoom-Jhoom from Tom Dick and Harry.. Not a good performance.. They lost sur many a times..

New Format(change is old)

As already posted here in the forum about a change in format, the format was changed by GG's.. When they were asked about the top jodi they said, they are not going to say, as their choices never matches with the people.. They change the format by taking the covers which contain the results from shaan.. The jodi's are not called by the order of their ranking according to votes.. But they are called according to the choices of Judges, participants, shaan, ishitaa and then studio audience..

The results are not declared as the jodi perform.. But all the jodi's are asked to perform and then the results are handed to them for viewing.. As the jodi's read out the number of votes got by them, the ranking is formed… Nice format…

First Jodi selected according to the judges – Twinkle – Viswas

They sing Aashiqui mein teri from 36 china town.. An average performance and singing.. Judges say they were good.. They are asked to select the number 2 jodi according to them.. They say Sinchan – Irfan

Second Jodi selected by TV - Sinchan - Irfan

They sing Just Chill from maine pyaar kyun kiya.. The singing wasn that good.. They lost sur many times and even not electrifying as that of the song.. Judges choice also SI

Third Jodi selected by one and only Shaan

They sing Ek Ajnabee from Ek Ajnabee.. It was a very good performance and singing.. Banjo has improved a lot and very nice performance too.. Judges say they rock but their choice for no. 3 was Prajakta – Hrishikesh Sharib talks in Assameese

Fourth jodi selected by Ishitaa – Ujjaini - Aishwarya

They sing Ishq Khudaai.. Ash was very good.. He is back with his good performance.. Judges were very happy and praised them a lot.. They say it was their best performance.. Guru of Ash had also come..

Fifth Jodi selected by Studio Audience – Prajakta - Hrishikesh

The audience give a mixed choice.. But at last Prajakta – Hrishikesh are selected.. Shaan says, as Sanchali – Rajeev have been no.1 for a long time, they must sing in last.. PH sing mujhe tumse mohobbat hain from Aitraaz.. They sing very well.. PH's friends and Prajakta's sis and dad had also come…

Last Jodi – Sanchali – Rajeev

They sing Oh sakhi – sakhi from Musafir.. Hariji said today Rajeev sang very well.. He was happy with their performance..

Declaration of result

All the jodi's are given the covers to read out their number of votes…First TV read their votes and then it goes on and the tension was on air as each jodi read out their votes.. Because no one knew who will be out..

Jodi No. 1 - Ujjaini - Aishwarya

They are given a surprise.. They are showed an AV where their parents praise them.. They sing Sajan ghar aana tha - Jaane mann.. Not sure of the movie... Shaan Praises them for their singing and Viswas is also shown praising them while they were singing.. Their performance was very good and they created a romantic feel in the studio...

They are also shown an AV of their parents praising them.. They sing jiya dhadak - dhadak.. Viswas was good.. Twinkle was looking very sweet today.. But according to me, though himani was wonderful in this song, i can even say that they were upto the level of himani too.. Less, upeng and hari enjoyed the song.. and they were even clapping hands and praising them...

The show has started and the show is started by showing an AV on Naushad ji... An AV on Naushad ji's journey is showed and also the episodes where he came to SRGMP are shown.. Then host was Sonu Nigam.. and only few words spoken by him are shown in the AV..

Group Performance

The Contestants sing Sab se bada Rupaiyah from Bluffmaster.. PH start their performance from the audience and UA start their performance from behind Gruvee Guru's.. Others sing on the stage.. It was a nice performance and singing too..

Shaan says, the results are in his hands and ask GG's if they would take the results.. But he has given the covers where the secrets of the participants are mentioned to GG's... Again, Gajji's scripts... Anyways, it was nice...

Today's theme - COMEDY

Jodi Number 1 according to Judges - Ujjaini and Aishwarya

They sing Apun bola tu meri laila.. They sing well.. There is a cover with the judges which contains some secrets of the contestants.. For Ujjaini it is: She used to always break something in the house while she was young and for Aishwarya it is: He used to drink the milk kept for his brother too... I dont know why Gajji wants to bring in all this??

Jodi Number 2 according to Judges - Twinkle and Viswas

They sing Usne bola kemche.. They sing well too... Its time for the secrets to come out... Twinkle used to take the prasad kept for god and have it.. Nothing is said for Viswas...

Jodi number 3 according to Judges - Prajaktha and Hrishikesh

They sing akhiyon se goli maare.. I dont know what happened to them today.. Prajakta was not good today in high notes... The secret about Hrishikesh is told by Hariji.. He took permission from each of his family members for eating mangoes and he did it.. Suddenly after eating lot of mangoes, doc had to be called...

Still the results have not come to the shaan's hands.. As his friend is having the results..

Jodi number 4 according to judges - Sanchali and Rajeev

They sing kisi disco mein jaaye.. Rajeev was good in the performance and singing.. Hariji asks, who is trying to break their jodi?? because rajeev in last episode mentioned about it... But he refuses to say it and says he will say this secret when he is getting out or when the jodi trying to break gets out...

Jodi number 5 according to judges - Sharib and Banjotsna

They sing Luv ke liye kuch bhi karega.. Wow! This jodi is really rocking.. They sing really well.. The judges are also happy with their performance.. Banjo who was not good at many episodes, sing well.. Sharib also sings very well... The secret about Sharib is that, When he was young, he went for a drive in his scooter... And when the scooter stopped in the middle, he took a machis and put it inside the petrol tank to check if there was petrol or not... 😆 God really funny...

Finally babul suprio enters the stage for announcing the results...
