I am not a proponent of regional voting, however if everyone in the contest plays by that, you cannot be the only one saying, I am a Indian first, and loose lacs or rupees worth of contract, Theory YES, practical NO.

Maharashtra is the only state who has booooed Sachin.... and it can be the only state to dare to do that.... bcos it wants to welcome new talent instead.... and they care for talent and not the name as some bengalis were doing for ganguly.........

Maharashtra respects talent and welcomes them and give them opportunities to succeed... thts why it is a progressing state.....

My personal opinion - Maharashtra is great! So 'Jai Maharashtra', but please value the sentiments of other states as well 👍🏼

south indian who worked hard in salaried jobs

...lets see... i think that the truth is, people like nihira and amey are very talented, and even the dumbest of the audiences can tell. judges who came and had absolutely no musical knowledge/background (plenty...emraan hashmi, hot, but no music bkgrnd, dino morea... eck, no musical bacgrnd, tusshar kapoor, same...) even they had the best compliments for her... and as a very nice result, amey and nihira got the support from all over india, not just their home base... however, if they would've gotten just a biiiit more from maharashtra, they would've been sure winners...and i'm maharashtrian, so i know exactly what i'm talking about 😉 hahaha jk
the same thing happened to amruta khanwilkar from Indias Best Cine Stars Ki Khoj... but dont worry guys, the talented ones, are awarded with the shiniest of diamonds...take a look at amruta, she was in ADA, and now i see her in Kahani Shuru with Love Guru... 2 shows already! plus she was also in a Medimix ad

Maharashtra IS A PROGRESSIVE STATE NO QUESTION .. BUT WITH THE CONSENT OF THE SONS OF SOIL.. There is a silent undercurrent of divisionism in the name of secularism which is attributed only to Maharashtra among all of our 28 some states.. WHY?

In a state of which Mumbai is capital, it is indeed sad that people want it to be limited to the state and not think of the country.
