I m not saying that, as i know what the pride of Maharashtra is- Lataji, Ashaji, Amol Palekar, Sachin, Gavaskar, Jayant Narlikar, and many many more.

But why should we fall back here when a Maharashtrian is the best.

We aren't falling back.Just understand these T.V. channels r making the ppl fool.

They r intrested in TRPS.

The concept of public-voting is .😡

How does it matter which soil they belong to.

If I change the place of my residence, what does that make me. Do I belong to the place where my ancestors originated from or do I belong to the place where I settled down.

The candidates themselves dont bother too much about the regions, as long as they are Indian.

Why are we getting into this argument.

Surely you insult a Maharashtrian's intelligence by asking him/ her to vote, ignoring talent and other criteria and vote purely by local regional ties.

see
priyaji,qwerty, amogh,saniyajee(sorry if I missed someone)
how Nihira/Amey/Hrikishesh stand no chances of getting regional votes
see even when they are arguably the best, they loose against a united regional vote pattern, we are the only ones shouting at the top of our voices to keep Hindustan/Bharat/India first and do this based upon talent

Go back 3 pages we are discussing only regional stuff and forgot that someone even needs to get voted

WE will not change, 500+ years of history on our side 😉
