It may be because Rajiv's range is limited (as a few ppl have already pointed out)

well nothing personal in that as everyone wants to win and they choose partners according to the grades , like twinkle acted smart and wanted to pair up with sharib.

but guys are fools and they went after twinkle ,to flirt i suppose lol. even though ujjaini and vinita are better singers.

as far as rajeev is concerned thats true that his starting sur starts on a very high note and girs think its wont help their chances to win. but its not true .

even if rajeev pairs up with ujjaini they have a high chance of winning.

I'm sorry, but I don't like Rajeev's singing at all. I would never want him to sing with me. I've only heard him sing good a small amount of times and honestly I was never impressed.

About him not being voted for, I felt bad for him. That was truly sad, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Rajiv has not been chosen because he is extreme...either extremely good ..in high notes...and no body can match him..if a song is high note he is going to beat every body and create a problem for the partner to match his notes...

Probably they are going to give all kind of songs to the contestants ...Rajiv may not do good in other songs(which are not high notes)

Don't forget he is the highest rated male contestant in the previous saregama ahead of all the current male contestants in the show..Sharib is the only finalist in the show but he was eliminated before Rajiv..

He needs somebody like Sunidhi or Richa Sharam to match note for note 😃

Sorry Abhi, but I think that Paresh is a better singer though Rajeev has a
better voice.

FYI -- Rajeev zero training, Paresh -- some training. Discussed on other
shows.

Rajeev's incredible Yaar Ko Maine audition brought down the house the
mentors fell in love with him then as did much of India triggering the
SMS's to bring him back. Nevertheless, Rajeev is perpetually inconsistent
and not a good stage performer in terms of singing so I don't think he
would make a good partner. But maybe it is a stage fright issue- -
perhaps in the studio he would sound better than everyone in a limited
range of songs.

I did not like Rajeev much during SRGMP contest,, was always wondering how he came so far.. His Rabba, Rabba was the worst sang of the contest...

I would have chosen Rajiv for his cooking skills more than singing skills. I always wanted to marry Sanjeev Kapoor, the Khana Khazana guy...just think gourmet breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
